Anybody seen this before?

This is more examples of the problem I'm having. So far it seems it's only happening on the left side of my plate (mostly) and I've used 2 different resins with different exposure settings plus light, medium and heavy supports and still had this problem. I'm doing another test now, but I"m starting to think it's an LCD problem, like some of the lights are turning on and staying on.

So I've seen some great prints and user review from elagoo grey. Mine should be arriving today, and I was hoping for any tips or tricks that you've personally found for this particular resin. Printing mostly minis and bit with it is my plan

Hey guys, LCD just started burning out, are there any good recommendations for a cheaper replacement than the official Anycubic screen? So far I’m looking at the Epax screen but I can’t seem to figure out if it’s compatible with the Photon or comparable with it. In all honesty, unless some of you have experience with it, I’ll probably just suck it up and go for the official Anycubic screen. Thanks!

Hi all had some resin cured on the build plate in places after a print not had this before! ? I’ve scraped it off but still seeing these outlines of were the resin was ? Shall I soak in ipa over night?

Hi! I have replaced the fans with quieter ones, and the photon is now really quiet - except when moving up and down during printing.

Has anyone tried putting dampers on the nema motor, or damping feet like with fdm printers? any other suggestions to making the stepper more quiet? 2208 drivers maybe? :D

Hey guys,

I didn't print anything on my photon in like 2 months and started printing again using a new bottle of Anycubic Grey. So far I only used Anycubic Green (translucent).

But I really struggle with this grey resin. I'm getting strange artefacts on my prints, that appear randomly on certain layers across multiple minis. I also have some goop sticking to the FEP. They are like flakes and can also be found on parts of the minis.

I also noticed that some parts of my prints such as the wolf's paws or the feet of the goblins merge together with the base or are flattened out. I tried doing an exposure test previously, and also had these artifacts. Due to not perfect leveling I didn't use the exposure test results and releveled first.

Could it be some mechanical failure like light leakage?

I took the exposure settings from the spreadsheet.

0.05mm layer height.

18sec exposure

1sec offtime

base layers 90sec

8 base layers.

I reduced the exposure to 14 later, since i saw some posts of people saying the exposure was far too high on the spreedsheet, but the results were the same.

The fep was very tight, maybe even too tight. I will replace it for a testprint with the remainder of my anycubic green.

I am pretty new to resin printing and so I have allot to learn so I figured you guys/gals can point me in the right direction lol.

I am making this part with my FDM and resin printer so I have a good comparison between the two.

I printed the following part and just did it flat on the build plate. When I did the bottom fused together, and I had to throw them away. I am thinking I need to maybe use supports to get it off of the table to get it out of the longer exposure time (not to mention it was a beast to pry these things off of the build plate with so much surface area).

I wanted to see if anyone has any other suggestions before I make another attempt.
