reallllly need some help. bought the printer last week, been trying it off/on and havnt got a SINGLE good print to finish. ive (changed the clear film, re-leveling my head several times, went through and ENTIRE bottle of grey resin with correct settings according to- https://docs.google.com/…/1crvzMnt_8NJXAsABinoIhcOjE8…/edit… -, i just dont know whats wrong.)

my problem is every print the supports will begin to print and then when it gets to the Actual print it sticks to the film. ive tried several different models at different angles and done a literal weeks worth of research but no bite. im about to send this printer back after doing months of research and saving to finally buy the thing

Hi guys, I just received my resin, is this, will anyone know the times I should use for her? Everyone, I would like to thank you for your efforts.

I have been using FDM printers for many years now (started on the Solidoodle 1) and I have poured my heart and soul into teaching others how to maintain and operate them for years at local schools.

I really hesitated to embrace the goo for a while. But when I stumbled on this community, I felt that if you all believed so much in this, then why was I hesitant? So, here I am, thanking each and every one of you.

So, I unpacked a few days ago, followed everyone's advice here and checked everything, leveled (which is so much easier than an FDM) and decided to skip the cube. I was thinking, "I'm a big boy, I've been doing this for years...I don't need to print the test cube, I want to print my minis."

Well, I am pleased to say that with your tips and tricks, I was successful. And I went ahead and purchased another liter of goo from Anycubic.

Thanks again everyone! You are the best, and keep it up.

Levelling question.

I replaced my LCD today after the first broke, there was a visible break along the top of the screen, I get the feeling my z=0 was very low and perhaps this over time flexed the screen enough to break it.

I never had adhesion problems with my levelling after setting it quite low, so low I’d hear a short “grind” as it pushed to z=0. Obviously this wasn’t great but worked.

Do you think this could have been the likely cause the screen broke? There was also resin there, I’ve no idea how but perhaps that had an effect also?

I’ve re levelled now with a new print on the go but I’ve not heard the satisfying pop of the FEP so perhaps this one won’t stick, I’m just looking for opinions before I push z=0 lower and risk damage.

Out of the box...should this be squared up? It came crooked.

Edit 1: for what it’s worth, I have a FDM printer that Ive been using for a year or so. I’m well aware that these things don’t arrive “leveled” out of the box.

These 2 prints came out really nice. I had to test after doing the Mr Jackson mod and found these 2 awesome sculpts from Duncan shadow.. No sandpaper was used. 0.02 LH CHituBox lightest supports +8AA. primed with Stynylrez grey ready for paint.

Every now and then (maybe more so now that I'm making instructional videos) I do an experiment that goes totally off the rails. So while test printing the mount for next month's Vampire Lord from Artisan Guild, I got too experimental with supports on the fangs and turned the giant Vampire Bat into a giant Fruit Bat! :(

I'll hopefully be back tomorrow with an actual Vampire Bat with fangs (and maybe even a Vampire Lord riding it!).

Question to the people printing dental models. How to you convert DICOM file to STL? What software do you use? I'm really struggling to clean the chins and teeth from the noise from the scan. Also how to seperate the upper from lower chin? Any help would be appreciated.
