Need to change the FEP, but have one screw that won't budge, and head almost stripped. Tried soaking it with wd-40 and even ipa. Won't budge. Suggestions please.

Can anyone explain why Chitubox slice files are so much bigger than the AC slicer files? I took the same file and it is 70MB with Chitubox and only 20MB with AC Slicer.

I have to assume it's over-exposure or insufficient supports, but I can't find anything directly about it. I posted a few days back about a model that failed, I printed the base vertical (it has chamfered sides) and supported up the side where parts stuck out. seems within the bottom third of the base it split in half.

I had another part of the same build plate where the top of a part forms a partial spiral and that split at the top of the spiral.

I am using Siraya Easy, 7.5s exposure, 0.02 layer.

Is there a temperature effect with resins for shrinkage? the parts that split were both solid pieces without hollows.

Printed the RERF file for the photon S but it seems that the bottom is increasing in height from right to left? Right is very thin and left is very thick.
Is my buildplate that off? Or something else..
I used the paper method to align.

Wow, i heard this group was helpful but i did not expect this much response. Thank you! ❤️

Hi, i am a new Photon owner, and i have a few questions:

1) is there supposed to be a high pitched buzzing during usage? (Except the z screw, and the fan)

2) is the fan on the bottom supposed to blow air out, and not pull it in?

3) is it normal, that the resin has lots of bubbles/almost visible particles after shaking? (Got 1L anycubic black with the printer)

4)how much resin should i pour in the vat? A miniature needs like 3ml, but that wont cover even the bottom of the floor haha ?

Hey experts! I think I know the answer, but I want to make sure I'm troubleshooting intelligently. I feel like I should be getting better detail than this. What's the better place to start... bop down the exposure time or look at changing the FEP?

I'm printing with Anycubic Aqua Blue at .05mm with 10s exposure. I'm still using the first FEP and I'm probably ~15 prints in.
