Recently in installing a new 2K LCD screen under warranty from Anycubic on my Photon, my main board went bad.. and in a series of emails.. the clip on the front touch screen clip broke where the ribbon clips in from the main board. So Anycubic sent me a new main board, a new front Touch screen (had me keep the 2K LCD screen they sent to me) and two new fans as they were both making noises (I installed the lower fan (that vents the electronics chamber but have not been able to install the "filter" fan from the resin chamber yet as I am not figuring out how to do. So, I followed the instructions for installing the main baord for the Photon too. But now I got a white lit up blank "front LCD touch" screen on the front of the Photon.. so I can't even test the rest of the installations with the main board and the 2k LCD screen. ? 翻譯年糕

Is there a resin exposure test file for the Photon S by now?

All I seem to find are remarks that the Photon (without S) file won't work, and that I could slice a couple of test file multiple times with different settings and try over and over again. Which of course would work, but is also kind of a dull thing to do...

upgraded UI on both my two Photons.... simply fantastic ! Now I can read the screen information.. next step upgrading FW and activate network connection.... Many thanks Photonsters !

Good news on the LCD front! Elegoo just announced that by the end of the month they will be selling LCD’s on Amazon compatible with the Photon, Epax, Mars and all compatible machines for under $30!!

We have so needed this on a consumable product!

I upgraded the photon-s' firmware to P_V341 and test the anti-aliasing features on photonworkshop V2.0.23. There're scraches on the eggs but the salmon skin decreases.

Playing with Monocure Rapid Clear. Not too shabby for first try. Also airbrushed Vallejo Gloss Varnish on the spell effect models.
The rats are tests with different varnishes. The right rat has not been varnished (my control). The second to the right has vallejo matte varnish, the third from the right has vallejo satin varnish, and the forth from the right has vallejo gloss varnish. You can see a subtle progression from none to gloss.
