Been printing with my Photon almost non-stop since I got it and it has performed flawlessly. That is until i dropped the build plate today and it hit the concrete floor and bent it pretty bad on one corner. Just wanted to chime in and say that re-machining the surface hasn't cause any adhesion issues at all. Didn't take too many pains with it either, removed 0.015" with a flycutter, 1000rpm/6ipm.

Hey guys I just wanted to share something positive to end my evening. The 3D printing has allowed me, the non artist ( zero artistic ability) to create and design. Anyone who is familiar with Disney Cruise will know the door magnets are a common thing. I upped my game and created this. Printed each part and airbrushed. I do love this printer and I owe almost all of my success to you guys in the group. Keeping it positive and helpful!

So I was leveling my photon and it seems that the left side is looser on the paper than the right. Is this normal?

Hello to all here!
I'm a new owner of the Photon and I've been playing with it a couple of months and with excellent results.
Lately, for my lasts two prints I've been using chitubox and the validator and..after expending too much time on the validator fixing errrors I noticed something wierd.
In the image you will see on the left the validator and in the right chitubox, same layer and for some reason in the validator is showing as an empty space what it's supposed to be solid...and a couple of layers below I was fixing random errors inside what it's supposed to be empty.

is this right? is the validator working as expected? is chitubox exporting wrong the file?

Any light over this matter will be of a lot of help.

Just a quick question and sorry if it has been discussed. Old version of chitubox I could add model to model support, as in the model supports were attached to the model at both ends. New version it doesn't let me do this, is there a setting I need to turn on or is it just buggy? Reinstall maybe?

So I did my first print and I’m very impressed

Now should I clean the left over resin out of the basin by filtering it back in the bottle?

Do I need to clean everything down after every print or can I leave it for a bit?

Does anyone have experience with foldable prints? I'm still waiting on my photon to come in and was wandering if anyone here has printed and able to "fold" these. I've no experience at all with resin prints and was curious! I've always been using fdm printing since I started this hobby.
