Finally got my homemade UV curing station set up. Plastic bucket lined with tin foil and eBay bought LED lights. How long does this process normally take to post cure your prints? I’ve always just chucked my minis outside in the sun (clouds stupid Australia) for the day.

Has anyone used the Siraya Tech "Sculpt" resin? I have tried the "Easy" and it's anything but. Super brittle, warps easily, etc. I use this for 28mm figures only for looking for a good happy/medium between price and detail. Learned my lesson with cheap.

Hello all. Preparing to buy my first Resin 3D printer. I've been reading and am not sure if I should get the Photon or Photon S - just initially going to be printing 25mm miniatures. Thanks for any advice.

Man, don't you just love waking up in the morning and checking on your printer to find a whole plate full of highly detailed, perfectly printed miniatures? It IS amazing. Only a few years ago all of this was unthinkable, now I am printing miniatures myself that look even better than the ones I used to spend a small fortune on in the shop. From a bottle of liquid resin no less. Thank you technology, and thank you artists, for making this possible. :)

I’m looking to buy a 3d printer to make jewellery. Reliability and quality of both the printer and prints are priority as i don’t want to be constantly troubleshooting. I’m tossing up between the phrozen shuffle, anycubic photon and epax x1.

Does anyone have experience with these printers to recommend which one i should get.

Do small thin parts still need post-curing under UV? Or is the curing during printing enough?

Alright, I am sure I want a printer. I am fairly sure it will be a Photon (Unless something surprising suddenly drops onto the market)

I have read and watched videos on setting up, cleaning, and educating my self on what I am going to get my self into.

What are those things that are understated or no one talks about that took you by surprise when you started? Anything you wish you had known?
