What has your experience been with anycubic support?

I have dead spots in my lcd less than 3 months after getting it, so I just sent in request to support@anycubic3d.com, and am curious what kind of support to expect.

Finally got around to painting up the bear I printed for our Circle of the Moon Druid. Still not done with the base (under the bear and around the paws). But close enough to show it :)

First pic is next to the official D&D bear figure for scale.

How many hours do the screens last ?

I have had mine now for over a year and have printed a TON of stuff on it.. probably gone through 5 litres of resin now and it is still going strong..

Is there a limit to how long the screens work ?

Bit of an odd one today guys.
Printed 4 little X-Wing models on my photon.

All 4 X-wings were printed with exactly the same supports yet 2 of them have some failure.

And it looks like the failure was on the supports.... weird

Sliced with chitubox. Medium auto supports with a few extras added by me.
Anycubic green resin
8 base layers with 120seconds exposure (just to make sure it sticks)
Layer size 0.02 mm
Standard exposure 7.5 sec
Off time 4.5secs

I have no idea what went wrong here

I’m brand new to the photon and resin printing so I’m just printing random things at the minute to get the hang of how to orient for best printing, adjusting settings, adding supports, slicing, etc....

Any and all tips would be welcome.

Can someone clarify this? Is the Uv cooling fan mounted in the right airflow direction? Now it sucks air from the cooling block in stead of blowing on to it.
In other equipment the fan always blows air to the cooling block

For novice's, like myself. Had a run of a dozen or so successful prints. Came home last night only the support base had printed and stuck to the FEP. CULPRIT, over the course of several prints, the screws on the VAT had worked lose. Check the VAT screw's everytime.

Hi. Do you know what causing this peels and chipped areas (tops of barrels)? File is free from errors by the way. It's hollowed with 3 1.5mm holes at the bottom. I've got this with primaCreator light grey. 25um, Bottom exp 50 and 5 layers, 10 exp. Now I'm trying 12sec exposure and will have results in next 4h. Default exposure for low powered printers should be 4-8 seconds, apparently...

Hi,

I have problem with my Photon S, the UV detection shows random parallel lines instead of rectangular stripe, I tried to reinsert the screen cable several times but it didn't help. Does any one experienced similar problem? does this mean that the 2K screen is damaged? Thanks,
