What are the health risks of resin? in other words what health issues does it cause?

I know its toxic etc. I read a lot of posts and articles saying use gloves, avoid skin contact etc. But i cant find any info what health issues it actually causes

recently moved, setting up maker space again and looking at getting a nice vented extractor. read some where that a carbon filter isnt enough to stop the finer particles. so ill else i can use and vent it outside

Hi everyone - I'm a new owner of an anycubic photon, and new to 3d printing in general and have a few questions!

Do you have any suggestions for reference materials, books or guides for printing - a resource to learn from basics?

I'm wanting to learn about supports, orientation for printing (eg was going to print the heroforge mini demo and it was oriented flat on its side)? How do you know where to fit a support?

Slicing and hollowing software suggestions? And do most people here use fusion or 3ds max?

I have heard that the Elegoo resins are quite good? I'm based in AU and was wondering if anyone had found a supplier for it? Amazon can't ship it to AU unfortunately.

If anyone has suggestions or tips it would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to learning and jumping into this!

Thanks a heap!

Hey all. Made a no-good rookie mistake and overfilled the vat (hard to eyeball clear resin). No overflow, but resin JUST got up onto the 4 little screws on the build plate which I've seen some people vaguely mention as no-bueno. Any advice on what kind of adverse effects this might have on my current/future prints and how to rectify? TIA.

I’ve been having issues when printing multiple objects. The end result of this print was one of the ships came out fine stuck to the build plate - the others were stuck to the FEP. I have a theory that different heights of objects can create forces unevenly on the build plate and rip some off. Input welcome. Note: The build plate I know for a fact is level.

Hello everyone. Have been using FDM for quite a while and resin printer has been on my wish list for quite a while now. Found lighting sale on amazon for photon for CAD $480 (about US$360) but then noticed that Elegoo mars is available for CAD $399 so that's $80 difference. Is photon worth the extra? Thanks :)

Hi guys, been having a couple problems with my printer this last days, corrupt files, power outbreaks in the middle of a print and had to reset firmwares and other stuff, I think what I dont like the most is the wasted material. (Im at the moment when I feel a bit bumped with how hard this is turning out of nowhere)

I have been cleaning the inside of the models with IPA very well and curing it the best I can but from the draining hole I guess no light is never enough, so I believe thats the reason the cracks have appeared a couple of days later.

Could anyone give me some advice on doing everything with the best quality possible? Im trying to start a small business with this and would not like to sell defective models.

Thank you in advance
