Hello there, i'm new to DLP printing. Got the Photon S, perfect leveled and both surfaces cleaned well with alcohol. Problem: the prints sticks to the FEP film that it always sounds like "Plop" when the Z axis raises and of course the print fails. I find out that supports sticks to the FEP film...any suggestions?

Guys I have a serious problem, I wrote off to Anycubic about my Photon-S stopping printing halfway through prints.

The Advice I got back was at best confusing :) I was told to format my USB stick, I'm doing that now but I used 3 different ones so I'm guessing thats not the problem, and to disconnect "the cable" and plug it straight in to the Motherboard then use it.

I am hoping this is a translation issue as removing the case and plugging the USB in to the Motherboard seems like a bad idea.

Also any one here from Anycubic please please start a live chat for people with problems if I get 1 email a day and it takes 10 or 20 emails to resolve any issue thats me sat waiting days to resolve something that simply could take a few minutes in a live chat.

So, do most people print models with the shortest dimension in the z axis to get faster prints? I've been printing with longest dimension in z so i can avoid supports.

Anyone have a problem with the prints failing due to z-axis stopping movement during the base layers? I've been printing for about a year now but lately my printer has started to suddenly beep when trying to raise the build platform and then just not move at all during the rest of the print.

The same print might be successful, but immediately on the next print it fails on the 4th layer. Then on the next one on the second and then on the fourth try it's successful again. The build platform always lifts after I reboot the unit.

I'm suspecting the PSU as it's the original 6A so with the base layers that have the strongest forces on the build platform it fails. But it seems pretty random with full platforms working fine and the next run it fails with something that has like a 2 x 2cm base layer...

Hi photon owners!! Do any of you clever people know if cured resin is safe to use as jewellery? I design and print bangles and pendants and am considering an Etsy shop, but i’m not sure if it’s safe for prolonged skin contact without some sort of sealer?

If it’s not, would a coat of dull-coat varnish be sufficient do you think?

I got my printer did the print test and leave sleep for a couple of months, a few day ago I asked for help here and I got my first model printed. My Anycubic won’t sleep again hahaha.
I think these supports are really big, anyone has a better settings for 35mm minis?
