What’s the usual cause of a failure that has the base layers and the supports, but the model is missing? Did the model fall off of the supports? Does the Z height need adjusting again? Is it the orientation of the model?

The last time it happened, I re-oriented the model and it worked. But, I think that might have been a fluke. Any ideas? I’m guessing here. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

HELP! Weird layer lines?

FIXED: The culprit was the eccentric nut that was massively overtightened to say the least! After unscrewing it and screwing it back in with a more reasonable amount of force, the printer now prints flawless, perfectly smooth surfaces :)

Hey printers,
I've had my photon for 5 months now, but I cannot seem to get rid of these weird artifacts. They are horizontal lines, mostly several layers thick and randomly spaced, that run throughout every print. I've updated the firmware, checked the Z-axis, releveled and checked the FEP tension (294 Hz). Because their spacing is quite random, I do not think it is Z wobble. They occur in all of my prints and are actually quite noticeable with the bare eye. Can somebody help me with this? It is literally the only issue I have, everything else about this printer works flawlessly! Thank you all very much

Went back to the old USB stick for now, woke up to a Vampire Lord sucking the soul out of some scrub, so all is well. Taking advice from this board (thanks everyone) I ordered a 16gb 2.0 USB which arrives tomorrow, hopefully that will work!
