Got my printer a few weeks ago and finally got a space cleared up for it and started printing. This was my first print without any experience with 3D printing at all and I have to say it's thanks to this amazing community. Reading through the posts and everyone's helpful comments made getting into 3D printing and specifically using the Anycubic Photon a breeze.

I’ve never had to change the fep on this before. When should I? Is this still in usable condition? There is minor pitting in the center of the film.

Well I think I may have found my issue. Had a rough day yesterday, after 3hrs I noticed absolutely nothing was on the plate.. drained and peeled off the fep, tried a different file started out good but started to lift at the corners after a few hours. So I cancelled and re leveled the plate. Tried again. Same thing. Assumed it was the file so I tried the file that didn't stick again, all was good but woke up to the part missing and just supports :/ so clearly there's a problem lol.

At work I thought it might be the fep tension, it seemed odd to have all theses issues all of a sudden and seemed easy to pop that fail off than I did when I first got my printer months ago.

Got home drained the vat and yup sure enough the screws were all loose and the tone was only 158khz. Tightened up a full turn each and got to 312khz. Wish me luck lol also I'm fresh out of ideas if this isn't the problem lol

FYI, if you are curious if your usb stick is really formatted fat32 or just want to reformat it and be sure: Windows doesn't want to format large devices as fat32 - it will sometimes tell you that it is doing it but will use the "ExFAT" format. It's not true that devices larger than 16gb can't be formatted FAT32. They can - it's just that the windows format dialog doesn't give you the option. At least for windows users, there's a free tool that does a very good job of formatting volumes up to 2tb as fat32. I used it a lot in my mp3 player repair / hack / upgrade days. It uses the Windows built in api, just gives you more freedom.
