Is it possible to change the height and the speed of the z axis when changing layers? Maybe pause at the highest point for some time?

4th print, ( 6th attempt at printing anything)
Elegoo Grey .
- 60s base exposure
- 13s regular exposure
- 8 base layers
- 6.5 sec off time
11 hours print time, still some post processing to do. I am reprinting the left arms so not pressed in all the way to avoid them sticking.

Hello amazing Anycubic community!

I used to get these weird flat artifacts on my prints from time to time. Not support failures, just straight up artifacts. Now it is nearly every print. Any ideas?

The print still succeeds usually but.. merp.

We all know that you have to have a dead level plate to get a good print. I see many posts bemoaning that fact that they get 1 or 2 good prints and then things go astray.

I found out that this is due to removing the print from the plate after a print has finished. With no real way of supporting the plate, we have to hit or scrape the item off. This causes the plate to shift a fraction on the ball socket that is being held by the hex key screw.

I have been using this simple method now on my prints and have not had to re-level in ages as the plate is held firm so that the part can be removed without moving the build plate head at all. It’s made using 3 bits of wood, 2 of which have a slot cut into it using a saw. The saw slot holds the edge of the plate from moving and the end stop secures it so that you can hit your part with a scraper and it doesn’t affect the clamp as its not touching anything. I hope the photos help.

So I've just got the Photon S and I've leveled the bed a couple times but each time I keep getting this issue with prints. I'm using the default setting to try to print a model with the standard green they ship it with. Then I tried the settings here

https://docs.google.com/…/1crvzMnt_8NJXAsABinoIhc…/htmlview…

So is it because I'm just leveling it wrong and should just use this thing https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3096818 or does anyone have any tips for it?

So according to this, which column should I use? Also, is there a reason why this print wouldn't work with siraya Blu? I couldn't get this to print with that resin twice

I didn't realize the Epax X1 and the Photon have the same motherboard. I made the mistake of buying a Photon S. I was wondering if there is any reason why I couldn't switch the motherboard out with one of these instead of upgrading to the Epax X1.

Hey everybody, this group has been great for helping me learn the ropes with the photon. I have had my printer for about a month now and I sometimes run into the issue with my supports not connecting to the model. The prints below had light supports on them to support the two fists and stopped a good 1 cm on the left hand and a couple of mm for the right hand. I have had this issue with both light and medium supports I and just wondering what would cause this. I am using Elegoo grey and have my settings in the pictures. (I just use the default setting for supports from ChiTuBox) any help would be appreciated.
