Photon is set up.
Unfortunately I'll have to wait until tomorrow to do the test print.
I did a curing test with my curing box (aka my Retrobright Station, big enough to store the Photon)
The curing box works. A 13 euro nail dryer and a ikea cabinet lined with aluminium foil.

The extra two litres of resin I got are the Orange and the Grey resin.

Help friends, trying to help a buddy out and print something for him and having some issues. Believe he generated the supports using meshmixer (he has a photon but down currently so is familiar with stuff) but when I slice the file it’s dropping part of raft below the 0 level and it doesn’t appear at level 0 and the print will fail. How do you fix this issue? I’m slicing using stock slicer as the chitubox one is not liking my pc, will try and re download it tonight if it would be better.

What's your limit when you look for STLs to buy? I've run the gamut from a couple bucks up to 30 dollars, and I'm just tryna gauge what's...a fair price I guess.

Someone posted a pic of a mech from IG a few weeks ago and I've been keeping an eye on the creator. They've finally released the STL, but it's 20 bucks for one model that's 110mm tall. I've bought STLs more expensive than that, but they also...came with...more. Just feels a little overpriced.

So aside from the obvious warrenty voiding, what's the benefit of upgrading the Photon to the EPAX firmware? I'm thinking about getting a EPAX X1 for a second printer, but having both printers producing similar results would be quite helpful for my detail parts production.

Hi Yall.. I've had my S for a few days, and have had limited success. I was able to print a few little things for my model railroad but they were no bid deal, At least I know the printer is setup right as far as that goes. Anyway, I have this thing I made its gonna be a billboard. I have had 4 failed prints. The first time, I used PhotonWorkshop and had it flat with a few supports.. This failed it came off the build plate half way through. I did it again with Bigger/More supports, failed but when further. I then tilted it up 90.. Failed came detached right after moving from supports. I tried again this morning, turning it at an angle, I used Chitubox This last time, and angled the build and added the supports as shown, I thought this was gonna fix it for sure So I decided to print 2... Nope.. on this last one I changed the settings exposure 8, lift speed 2.. the feet seem to be stuck to the build plate good. Its more like the part is coming off the supports...I'm going to try more supports, and only print one.. If someone can help I really would appreciate it!

Robert Silvers and Sen Kun : Original Photon is on an Amazon Lightning Deal right now. Having experience with both machines, do you feel the upgrades implemented on the EPAX X1 are worth the $135.34 price difference between the Original Photon and the EPAX X1?
