Thanks for accepting me into this group.
I don’t have a Photon yet, I just ordered it. Should be here by the end of this week, early next week.
I’m not new to 3d printing, having owned an Anet A8 clone (diy kit) and currently owning a CR10S. I wanted to give SLA printing a go and was able to order a brand new Photon with 5 extra FEP (6 total) and two extra litres of resin for just under €400.

I went exploring on the net for models and found this one. I'm really happy with the way it turned out. It is a 3000 year old lidded ewer, or guang from China. This thing is an amazing artifact, the more you look at it the more animals you see! The site is the Smithsonian 3D, there are lots of other fascinating things there. I will post the link in the comments. I printed the model with Siraya Blu. The model was reduced to 35% and I printed the bottom and lid in 2 separate prints both with hand placed supports. I primed with satin espresso spray paint and then a barrage of rub n buffs, antique gold, patina, autumn gold, and Spanish copper. The attempt was to replicate very old bronze. The actual artifact has a much heavier patina on it, but I like this look.

Hi guys anyone tested this plexible resin already ? I tested blue from them and it is strongest resin I had to ply with but what about this one ... will it be ok for micro cars tyres ??

Paper thickness?

When levelling how thick should the paper be?

There's a good range from 0.2mm to 0.9mm I can pick up from my paper stock (crafting materials)...

I've noticed something interesting with my FEP.
I'm getting a lot of failed prints lately after managing to get loads successfully.
I noticed that my FEP tension is decreasing from attempt to attempt (by almost 100khz when measured with spectrum analyser)
Yet the internal ring that holds the FEP in place doesn't seem to be moving outwards, it is just as deep, and is far deeper than when I first tuned to 325hz.
Is my fep stretching and thinning, causing my prints to fail?

So ever coming up with problems to solve and not having much of an idea wtf I'm doing most of the time here goes.

I did a print which pretty much fills the build area. 1st one was worse then this so I recalibrated and went again.

I noticed the build plate was at an angle, I didnt notice it 1st time I wasn't looking for it. I thought "Crap ! it's been hitting the VAT!" So recalibrated it again and went at it again making 100% sure it would not touch the vat, it hadn't btw I checked for scratches.

So I just printed another one and same again the build plate is at an angle, I will recalibrate and go again. Is it possible the knuckle that holds it on is, loose even though the printer is like 4 weeks old bought new ?

Or am I simply not tightening up the bolt for fear of over tightening it and as it "sticks" it's un-leveling it ?

The pic of the screen was to see if that was the problem that to me looks ok I hope :)
