Is anyone else feeling confused about the photon S? I've seen it show up on places like 3d printers bay, and AliExpress, but not the actual anycubic site, or Amazon, where I thought it would appear first.
In addition, I feel like it's the same printer with just a different shell... Am I missing some major feature? I'm not seeing many differences justifying the higher price...
(Not bashing on anycubic, just genuinely puzzled)

Monocure rapid clear with a small dash of monocure black to give a smoked glass look.
It sort of disguises the unpleasant yellowing of the clear. Roughly 15:1 ratio clear to black.
85sec bottom / 15sec normal. I wanted to overexpose a little to stiffen the thinner parts.

I'm quite surprised with the way Anycubic manage the customer service on Aliexpress.

They are trying to making me close my dispute before i get any spare part and before the printer is fully working. I'm not a newby on Ali so i didnt made it.

That's not serious at all, a really dishonnest way to avoid any return and claim, once it's closed it's closed and you cannot do anything.

If you are facing that like me please dont close anything before all is solved.

Just wanted to share a Printed & Painted Ki-Rin from MZ4250's sculpts. I think it came out pretty well. That gold I was using needed multiple layers, but I'm OK with the end result.

I've got a smear of resin leak all the way around the vat. It didn't touch the screen. I'm changing the fep tomorrow after having a read on the best way.
I've run about 3 litres so far. Is that about the normal time they last ?

Here's a print I just finished today.

The character is based on this "spidersona" concept by graphic novel artist Sweeney Boo : https://twitter.com/search…

I sculpted & posed it in ZBrush over the course of a few days, then printed all the sections in 2 batches on the Photon.

I hollowed the whole thing but made a mistake with not having appropriate drainage holes on the shoes, so they ended up filled with resin which I had to drain afterwards! Will have to try to avoid that in future...

This was the first full original character I've sculpted from scratch and printed, I'm really happy with the result and I'm looking forward to doing more! :)

Supports were made in ChiTuBox because their auto-supports are so much better than the Anycubic Slicer supports! However, I did slice it in Anycubic Slicer.
I also used the Photon File Validator to check the supports and did several iterations in ChiTuBox before final slicing & printing.

Printed in Anycubic White, 13 seconds per layer at 0.05mm thickness.
If I were to do it again in Anycubic White I'd probably use 12 seconds, I think this print is slightly overcured.
