Please help me if I am reading the exposure test correctly. I did a slow-resin test file - resin-test-50u.B150.6-60.photon. I want to print at 0.1 layer resolution. Column 3 is the first one giving me ok looking results for the top bubbles corresponding to 0.1 layer resolution. Then I multiply by 6, giving me 18 sec minimum exposure. Looks like if I print with exposure 18-20 it should be good? Don't want to waste the expensive resin, so would like to get it right.

I started using Blu by Siraya resin and I love the stuff. But the prints stay tacky even after long curing. Anybody else having trouble with this? I'm wondering if I just need to clean it better after the print. Right now I'm trying to use strickly alchohol as I've had trouble with water turning my prints white.

I have been looking for a solid red, and I am so excited I can hardly contain myself. Will strength test it in two hours.

This was a 10 second Photon exposure. Is it over-exposed, under-exposed, or just right?

I am trying 8 seconds now. It should be good at 6 seconds on the EPAX printer (40 watt lamp).

Edited to add - use 8s if you want precision fit at 0.1mm. 10s if you want the Space Needle and fit at 0.2mm.

Having an issue here trying to print this specific item. Tried now 2 times and similar failures. This is for Black AC resin btw. Printing as a solid vs hollowed out...due to how the item is to be used. I have not tried to print anything thereafter this issue and/or tried other resins. Prior to this event, I was successful on 5 prints with AC Black resin...so not sure if resin related, supports, FEP...or other. Much Thanks!

Software Question: Has anyone else ever had Auto-Supports stop working?

I use the Photon Slicer software for my supports, and previously my workflow was use a low-density Auto Supports to rough out placement, then go through and manually add/ delete. Recently, when I click Auto-Supports, I get a split-second alert window, then nothing, and no supports are generated.

I've removed and reinstalled the software, thinking that might fix whatever's wrong, but the problem persists.

I can still manually place supports, and I've had no problems with the .photon file generating.

So this is how my printer arrived a few weeks ago, and I still didn't remove the foil on the inside of the windows. Here's the question, should I leave it on or remove it? It doesn't look so fancy with the foil on, but the resin is safe.
