So print on right FDM. Print on left photon. Printing direct on plate yet the print is a good mm or so shorter, what gives any idea? Look at the thickness of signet part.

Does anyone know how to move the design in the photon program up 1mm without changing the orientations of anything else? My model is 1mm under the platform and for the life of me I can not figure out how to move it up just one mm

Finally getting results that I would call good. The undersides i.e. sides that are attached to supports still look quite rough but a bit of sanding seems to remedy that. I would like to get better surface finish straight off the printer as I do engineering components and sanding can affect dimensional accuracy. But as I say, so far so good. Right now the sanded areas have a whitish texture when they dry. I will probably just rub some silicon oil on the part to achieve a good finish.

So I printed a teeny, tiny benchy :P Came out really, really well. I think it had a single support.

I’m not entirely sure what happened here but one of the upper support pylons is skewed, and the entire promenade is missing.

Based on previous posts I suspect it’s partly a build plate orientation issue, and partly using auto supports.

Everything else looks pretty good so I’m retrying the print. It’s now square on the build plate, with fewer supports.

Wondering if anyone can help me- I’m getting quite a large amount of shrinkage on my anycubic photon prints with bluecast X10, I.e I printed a ring and it came out two sizes too small. Any info is appreciated, thank you.
