Does everyone sand their prints once supports are removed. My supports always leave small welts on the print, just wondering if others have this too...

5.5 hours down, only 12.5 to go.
Here's to the tallest thing I've ever been brave enough to try printing. It's the Fillenium Malcon model from Thingiverse, scaled so that it's about 148mm tall....

I can see I've lost a couple of the supports right on the back end, but all the other little helpers seem to have hooked up alright, so I'm hoping it'll all be there when I get back into the office tomorrow morning.

I've printed it with the arse on the print bed, and the tips of the nose are just within print volume. No raft, just a few free-standing supports, which seems to have worked well so-far.

Wish me luck! :)

Apart from fume extraction and maybe some charcoal filter over the power cable hole this is read to go. I might rattle off a cheeky first print while the house is empty. Wish me luck!

Hello, I'm not a newbie,

Since I have changed my FEP from Original to Monocure, I have the problem that if I level my BP in the Vat, I recognized that the arm of the BP is blocked by the Vat, even if the BP is not in touch with the FEP

Anybody had this issue?

Is there a site that has models already prepared (oriented, supports, sliced) for the Photon in the .photon format?

Hello guys!
I've got a really weird problem for which I can't seem to find any reasonable solution. I have had a fairly large print with lots of different stls, and one round, 2 mm thick disk object which I tried printing at different orientations and sizes (horizontal, vertical, tilted 45°). All of the objects came out well, except for the two horizontally aligned disks (the normal and the 50% scaled as well), which turned into solid 2 mm thick rectangles in the results. The weird thing is, the .photon file shows perfect layers (I denoted the resulting rectangles with red), even the one on the stick after printing, so it did not get corrupted. On the rectangle, some details of the disk are still visible, and every other object printed perfectly, even the same disk's rotated versions (same stl). One of the rings was supported in chitubox and imported to photon slicer to compare the supports, but these other discs were sliced in the photon slicer.
The only solution I can think of is that somehow, after reading the data from the .photon file, the printer messes up its transformation to the actual LCD masking. Anyone here with similar experiences, or perhaps a solution?

Loving this printer!!
Can anyone advise on resin? Up to now, I’ve used only Anycubic Resin (clear green, black & white). I’d like to try and get closer to an ABS plastic look. The white Lego helmet in the photo is still a bit too translucent - can I adjust this by increasing the exposure time on each layer or should I look for a different brand/type of resin?

Crossover, Moai printing anycubic blue
looking good so far

(Update) Printed ok, a bit on the overexposed side for my taste and i still suck at orienting parts for side peel forces and Galvo FEP

Is there a way to delete only one model at a time in the anycubic slicer? I have only found the delete everything button.
