Is there a gcode or a setting in firmware where i can set a delay between lowering the plate and turning on the uv light? So in case i print a hollow object without suction holes, the resin has some time to get squeezed out on that 0.05mm space between the object and the fep.

Question:

I just got the Photon, gone through the leveling, hit new 0-Level, but when I then use the HOME button to move the Z-Axis, it is never 'tight' to the bed/paper as when I was leveling. Is this correct? or is the new 0-Level somehow about 1mm above where I said the new 0-level is?

New problem time!

I'm printing a file for a friend, a dwarf, and am getting an error when I try. The shield isn't printing. When I tried to use supports in Meshmixer, I got an error saying that a Non-Manifold Object was in the print. The shield shows up as a different color in Meshmixer as well, so I'm pretty certain it's connected.

Furthermore, Chitubox has the shield darkened out, which I'm now assuming means there's an issue with it.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Okay so Discovery number one with the 3D resin printer when you're cleaning with your paper towels pay attention to the second cleaning you may do to your parts and the paper towels that you used if there's no resin in them straighten them out and let the isopropyl alcohol evaporate out you can reuse those towels this picture is all of the paper towels that I have been using since I started with this machine that is these only had isopropyl alcohol. And I have reused these paper towels over ten times now.

Need serious help with scaling. Zbrush is just an inaccurate cluster **** to export correct scales so I tried scanning in meshmixer and it seems just as bad. For example I have a model that is cut up and I would like top be 13 inches tall; tmu 13inches = 355.6 mm yet with that value every piece is yuge when in photins slicer.
