After the Twin Rail Z Column upgrade...so far, everything has stuck to the build plate and layer lines are just not visible any more, nor pause-lines...well, short ones anyway, haven't tried a long pause. The Reindeer are one of today's jobs for my daughter. The coin is a British Pound, (not very big, not worth much.... ;-) But....I wonder if it can print the big plate job.....? Will find out tomorrow I guess.

Got the printer in a few days ago. Decided to take photos of the entire process strictly following the manual. Will post the entire process on my blog once complete. Currently printing the test cube in my closed off sunroom (away from sun) with a air purifier running ... these are just snapshots from my phone. Will post the test print success or failure when complete.

Ok., I got a problem. I started printing some items attached to the plate directly (simple parts with flat bottom) - before I was printing evetything on a a raft with supports and I noticed issues - first 3-4m z axis is warped on my prints as - it looks squished! I decided to do a test print with a simple round block pattern and as you can see the bottom 'hole' looks compressed down. This is what I'm getting in all of my prints. Any ideas where this may be coming from?

Some more mold work.

I’m not having any luck with the Fun to Do industrial resin. All the prints I have done failed.

So I’m using just the clear anycubic one for now.

The mold has 3 parts and sits inside an aluminum frame. Currently, it does not fit so I need to make adjustments but I’m getting close.

The insert is aluminum because it will have stress on it when I pull it off the mold and get the part off it. The mold is a little brittle so it will need some gentle handling but I’m hoping to get 20-30 parts out of a mold if I’m gentle.

I want to buy white resin - how can i get it? Are there quality difference?
What is the best room temperature when i start printing?
What shoud i do after the print? When i do the result in alcohol theg reen anycubic resin is matt? -> After UV its still matte. I want to paint it too. What is the best (airbrush) color brand for resin?

Hi guys, having problems getting this to print still. Quite frustrating given the first time I tried with Anycubic yellow and it printed with no issues, first time, horizontally. Anyhow, as you can see the supports printed fine on the front side, but failed on the rear. The raft printed fine, so could cause this to happen? I'm printing it again overnight with heavy supports, hopefully that will fix it, otherwise what's next? Just increase exposure? Increase the angle from the buildplate?
