I originally got into 3D in 1987 the 3D printer is the next logical step if you design in 3D. If you want to know if your 3D parts are valid in the 3D World 3D print them. That will give you output that validates your 3D model.

Looking for advice from you guys, I am an engineer and am printing some functional parts that need to be tough. Do you have any recommendations on resins that would be up for the job? Also what are the printer resins that you would go for for high temperature use such as carbon fibre moulds? BTW I live in the UK so something that is readily available here.

Antenociti's Workshop is entering the final week of their kickstarter for various sci-fi vehicle .stl files. These can definitely be printed with the Photon although some may require additional partitioning. I successfully printed the Efreet dropship (search for pics), one of the larger models, with the Photon.
