Hello everyone,
I've printed this piece yesterday. Layer height was 20 microns.
I feel like there is still too many visible layers.
I've already disassemble the printer, to check for z wobble (was not able to tight more the center wheel, because it was too hard to put the grey part back in place on the rail then) and grease the z axis again (after removing the old grease), but this hasn't change anything.

I'm seeing a lot of print that seems better than what I've been able to achieve for now. Print size is around 55mmx20x25.

And I also got this big line, highlighted by the red arrow.

This is anycubic green that came with the printer. Settings were something like 80s 8 base layers, 20 microns, 11s per layer, 1s off.

Do you have any idea on how to improve this ? Am I doing something wrong ?

Well I’m impressed. Right out of the box and it’s printed perfectly. Everything I read beforehand said how much better DLP is over FDM but I never truely comprehended it until I saw it for myself.

Just got my Photon, 3 prints in, lcd screen has apparently stopped working. No resin is being cured in the tank. I can see the black light come on inside but there is no rectangle when I do the UV light test off the menu. Any easy fixes I can check myself before going through support? So out of curiosity, does anyone have access to the MSDS for Nova3d resins? Also does anyone know what are some 405nm resins that use oligomer arcrylates as opposed to monomers.

hey guys, i just replaced the main board of the photon due to the half screen issue, and it still does the same issue with the new mainboard, does any of you have experience asking for a refund or maybe a new printer with any cubic? i already wrote to them but it takes a while for them to answer due to time diferences

Orbeat claims 5s exposures (and some users have reported true) with what looks like a cone array, wtf?

Was expecting it to have a parallell led array that we could hack from but...

The board is same as Photon, probably the photon files work with a change in file extension too.

Many posts from me now, but this click-sound that appears with the first layers, is that become I have the z0 to close to the bed or is it always the same? The prints getting perfect, but lite but worried I damage something over time ?
