To save you from answering 100 questions and seeing as you seem to the expert in BlueCast/Photon/casting/jewelry, why not do a writeup with steps on how you go from design to STL to model print print to burnout to casting? You can post this in the Files section so that everyone can access. I know I would love to see such a description and I'm sure others would also.

Anyone else have a problem printing with nova3d resin? I bought it in black and every time I goto print something it will finish and the plate will lift up with nothing on it and I end up with a chunk of cured resin on the bottom of my pool. It sticks to the film tray instead of the build plate.

Here is an article if you scroll through it you’ll find the effect of what’s known as backlash what can cause it and yes it can affect your prints backlash can be caused between the threaded rod and threads on the build plate the quality of the stepper moter and the driver to name only three as with cnc mills the better the build and parts the more it cost if you don’t get a good one you soon regret it just a few things to think about if you can’t figure out any other reason for print problems maybe it a ‘ mechanical ‘ issue? i come from a cnc milling background and have dealt with the same issues before!

AA vs non AA prints. AA are white, non AA are green. Both sliced at 30um. Same models. Could not do a complete comparison because the photon failed nearly half its prints. Last image.

Anyone know how to add a texture pattern to an existing stl file? Specifically I would like to add a carbon fiber type 'skin' the the surface of an object so when I print it there is a subtle but noticeable carbon fiber type pattern to the object.

I've leveled and releveled my bed and I usually get prints where the raft is thinker on the front and thinner in the back. Prints themselves seem fine and I haven't really had any failed prints since after the initial learning curve. Any idea what's causing this?

Need some help. I keep having an issue with my prints that I get soft details on the side with support and the opposite side comes out with crisp detail. My settings are layer thickness 0.05, normal exposure time is 14s, off time is 6.5s, bottom exposure time is 70s, and bottom layer is 8. This setting has seem to fix the issues of the print pulling away from the print bed. Before changing I was still having these detail issues. Any advice would be a great help.

Just wondering, has anyone come up with a design to mount the top of the z screw to a bearing to prevent z wobble? If not, is there any reason why this isn't being done?
