so I've seen some pretty minimalist support setups, I may be paranoid... How much support would a model like this need?

Strange that auto support would not generate any support on this model at 45 degree angle. Worked fine when I changed it to 35 degrees.

Hey guys I just got the photon yesterday and was so happy to see my first 3d print but unfortunately it failed :/ Nothing came out of printer and i used the same default settings for green resin it comes with. any help? Also the resin seemed to harden quick on the platform. I have the photon inside a closet outside my house where no light enters inside. Could it be the way I leveled it? I followed the paper/friction guide but I could have done it incorrectly. Thank you (:

Sterling Osment thank you, turned out great.

Left it printing, came back after 5 hours, opened the hatch and this was how I was greeted. It was almost surreal, gave me goosebumps for sure. Looking forward to seeing that tranquil face after priming.

anyone had a problem using the anycubic photon slicer where it will drop the model all the way down to the build plate after adding supports? I can do whatever I want to the model and put it wherever I wish. Then I go add supports and when I get done and go to do anything else (like slice it) the program moves the model all the way down again.

Well crap!!

Printers here with everything i need to print....BUT... the software wont work.

Apparently they didnt write the code to work with laptops with split nvidia graphics. Frustrating my laptop is actually 4 year old and was HIGH end.

It seems to be an issue with their software from what im reading.

The program opens. But you cant see the bed or the model
