Hi everyone, is it normal to be able to scratch/mark the surface of Monocure Rapid Grey prints?

I have printed a model at 0.05/12, cleaned in 2 baths of IPA for a few mintues then post cured extensively. The resulting print is able to be easily scratched with a fingernail, by comparison anycubic green is rock hard. Is this normal or is my process wrong?

Two day old machine. Print started out normal. Left the room for 10 minutes and started seeing this static. Haven’t stopped it, Want to see what happens. Has anyone else dealt with this? I’ll pause at about 30% and check to see what the build plate looks like

Just a friendly note for those of you not aware, as you increase your print resolution, it's recommended to also DECREASE your layer exposure time, this chart will give you a decent general direction to follow, you'll want to pay attention to the column on the far right, Scaling Factor for Exposure Time. This can greatly reduce the amount of time each print takes, especially if you're printing in a higher resolution. You're essentially just wasting your own time as well as adding extra wear onto your printers by not scaling your exposure times based on your print resolution.

Hello.

I have a question for the group.

First, I'll start with, I'm not a newbie to 3d printing. BUT,, I am a PREbie to resin printing.

My Anycubic Photon arrives Wednesday thanks to Kevin Rank for posting the amazon flash sale :)

here is my question.

I see some online articles about "hollowing" the stl.

when you guys print miniatures. the kind used in Dungeons and Dragons and various RPG's. 28mm to 32mm scale.

do you hollow them out? or print them solid?

I'm assuming solid, but I don't want to assume

how often can I reuse my IPA? At what point do I get rid of it. What is the safe way to get rid of the IPA?

Has anyone here ever paid someone for a custom sculpt? I was thinking of commissioning someone...

What do you guys think about this? Will it be possible for FDM to compete with resin printers?

Do clear resins generally require longer exposure times? I keep seeing settings for them with on times greater than 9 seconds
