Resin Print Price/Cost Calculator.

Many Updates. Resolved an issue with hours not adding up correctly.

a lot of people have been asking if anyone has a way to easily estimate print costs so I can up with a simple, but I think effective calculator for estimating print costs.

The calculator bases the final cost of the print on the cost of the resin per ML which is calculated from the cost of the bottle divided by the amount of resin in ML. The user inputs the values for the cost of the bottle and the volume in the bottle and it gets calculated. Next the user enters the estimated print volume, which the slicer, and Photon Validator both can provide. The volume of the print and the cost per ML for resin are calculated behind the scenes. Then you put in the estimated printing time and what you plan to charge per hour. This also gets calculated together behind the scenes. then you put your own handling fee, whether that be for removing supports or cleaning your vats, doesn't matter. A 10% up-charge is added to the resin cost to make a profit on it, and your print fee is at the bottom in green. Let me know if you guys like it and if you think I can improve it. I've uploaded it to the file section.

Edit: I've made it more granular for estimated print time, so you can add hours and minutes to get a more accurate estimate.

This morning we had another small victory at photonsters. This is a first print with gyroid infill. Bottom is broke of to expose gyroid structure. In this case 30%-40% of resin was saved. Stay tuned...

Hello, does anyone of you have this printer or know how is "Flashforge Hunter dlp" compared to PHOTON or farmlab?
is it better than photon? (independent of the price)

I'm not goint to print anything for a few days, so i'm told to empty the vat back into the resin bottle.
That´s all fine, but how do i clean the vat?
Can i use ethanol in the film? Anyhing to recommend or avoid when cleaning?

Duncan Shadow Louca's Ice Giant. Might have gone a bit overboard with supports. Hollowed. No drain holes. No suction issues.

Update: Resin is inside the Giant. Shake him and it can be heard sloshing about - drain holes are a good thing after all lol.

How would I go about and who would I contact to take a printed part and make a metal cast of the part? I see some are doing jewelry, and this would be along the lines of that, I'm working on a Colibri Molectric 88 'style' lighter casing for my Golden Gun.
