just a test pice the dimples from the supports should they look like that when i remove them ?or can i change settings in the softwear to stop it ,the arnold was little ove inch tall lol his fingers snapped off with suports

I just started printing with some Monocure clear and am having some troubles. After the print I wash in IPA and then rinse with water. As soon as I rinse with water, the print turns foggy. Any suggestions?

Hello everyone!

I've been thinking about buying Photon for a long time and I've always been delaying it. My biggest question was whether to buy this or the Moai, but finally I think that this week I will ask for my photon! But since it will be my first resin-based printer, I wanted to ask you for advice on a few things:

First, I know that the resin is quite smelly. I have the possibility to use the printer in an unoccupied place, but if it were possible, I would like to have it at home. Do you recommend some type of ventilation system, or purifying filter, that can be purchased separately to redirect or eliminate that odor?

I have read that the plastic sheet needs to be changed eventually, and I would like to have spare sheets from the beginning. Do They come included in the printer? If not, what sheets do you recommend me to buy?

My main use of the printer will be for figures and miniatures, since I am a 3D sculptor for board games! I know that the printer comes with some sample resin, but I would like to buy a gray resin that can be used to make silicone molds. What do you think is the best? Which brands work best with Photon?

And also about resins, how can I know which settings to use for each one? Is there any common rule? Have each resin its own settings? Is there any recommended guide for beginners?

And finally! Any advice you want to give me that I did not think about? Any beginner experience you wanted to share? I'm interested in everything you can tell me!

Just a question for you guys. Made this model hollow so why they put me support inside can i disable it somewere?

About a year ago we released a cheap, easier to use resin vat for the D7, we call it a FEPvat. Currently we are developing a version for the WOW SparkMaker and V2 for the D7. With the recent adition of the Photon to our workshop we where thinking maybe we could also make a FEPvat it.

We would like to know if people would be interested in a FEPvat for the Anycubic Photon?

Can you overexpose Resin in the sun (to cure it)?
And what happens if it happens?

Do I need to re-level and re-zero between builds? Or can I just slap the build plate back on the z axis and start up another print?

Well that's it. My printer is not working at all after replacing a new screen. I mean it powers up, but when I use Detect, no rectangle shows up... all pixels are clear.

And I have no way that I am aware of to fix it.

Was that $530 down the drain? (Not to mention the dozen bottles of resin I bought?)

Should I just buy another one and have that one fail too? Or just leave this printer alone and find something else?
