It's so hard to keep up with all of the advice, finding it again on FB is difficult. But I think we may need to put together our own spreadsheet. One we can edit. I'm willing to do that, if I can get true working numbers.

I just used the spreadsheet to try my very first Monoprice Black print and it just failed utterly with auto supports.

I'm now experimenting on my own with exposure times, and I am willing to put together a spreadsheet and upload it so people can update it frequently.

I may use DropBox which allows revision control too. If that works better than just putting it here and letting people just edit it.

My plan:

Start with the values on the pinned spreadsheet, and then begin corrections as we each try those resins and find better results.

Over time we may hone it to a near perfect reference so failed prints can be a part of history.

Also just had to chase up Imakr regarding some black resin, annoyingly they didnt chase me up but apparently theres a "global shortage" of black resin or their suppliers are ignoring them...any way had to turn change order to red...so if anyone has a good supplier of affordable grey resin for the UK then let me know...ta

was there a doc regarding print setups for specific resins...im away to try a print with Wanhao Grey and want to check if theres a preferred setup,,,had a look in files but could spot it? ta

Toby Kirkby you turned off the comments on your own post. This one, https://www.facebook.com/groups/AnycubicPhoton/permalink/1336109689867003/ But I was just extremely curious what got on your FEP that was causing your resin to polymerize. I never heard of this happening before. Where did you get the FEP film that was causing the problem?

Both at the same 11 seconds layer settings at 0.05mm.
The F2D has such low resistance that shrinkage on flat surfaces warp the model and remove the outer parts from the supports resulting in the horrible artefacts at the feet that I am unable to resolve except maybe by changing the printing angle. Also the models are almost unusable brittle, I break them from almost any wrong move.
The anycubic resin on the other hand is to tough that it has become a challenge to even remove supports from it. It sticks to the build plate so hard that at one point took me 20 minutes to just remove the model. It has high shrinkage and I think the line a few millimeters up from the bottom on the right model is due to the model changing layers from a full one to a hollowed one. The shrinkage on the F2D resin seems lower.
I have to note that Anycubic resin is prone to models not sticking to the build plate. It sticks to the fep so hard for layers with big surface that when the platform moves up I hear the pop sound just 0,1 seconds before the platforms stops and moves down. If the fep is not VERY tensioned you will certainly end up with prints stuck to the FEP.

A few marks where support was, I have ordered some acrylic primer to spray it. Any tips on smoothing the marks before paint? I’m worried I’ll make more marks trying to fix them. Anycubic Grey 0.04/10/1/50/8

Quick question...
How long should the FEP film last?
I've done about 5-6 prints and cleaned it with IPA and kitchen towel when not in use and it's gone cloudy and looks a bit scratched. it still seems to print fine though.

Hi everyone just had a look through this page and can’t find any info on what filters people are using to filter the resin after prints. Does anybody have a link to what they use as I imagine they are one time use items. Thanks
