- currently, after each layer exposure a peel motion happens. Photonsters are requesting the capability to say that a particular layer should not execute a peel motion after the exposure.

this is usefull to execute multiple exposures

I'd settle for the ability to edit supports created with auto-support, or the ability to create cross support supports that auto-support can generate.

I would suggest you mannage a function to scale a readily supported model without losing supports. This would be very handy and extremely crucial to productivity especially with jewelry which requires printing the same model over and over again with various scales and dimentions

First, I love my Photon, it’s my favourite of my 4 3D printers. 2nd, I would love the ability to edit the automatically created supports.

Zena Andreou sure, delete and move. I want to edit the support itself without having to individually recreate it. I’ve been using Chitubox to do the supports because it does a better job. If my Photon Workshop software to be at that level so I don’t need two programs.

I am using the stock photon slicer. Click on support edit and from there change to light/medium/heavy or adjust other parameters. Also able to move it to a different spot close by if the software allows.
One thing i'd like to see in the slicer is the freedom of supports. To let us place them where we think they are needed and not say 'no no...i won't let you do that'.

if I may add another option it will be Support Freedom' !
let us place them wherever we want even if the software doesn't like it. Many models require supports in places that the slicer refuses to let us. Editing and moving is an option but not always practical as even then the slicer doesn't like it and pops it back to original position.

I'd like to be able to change the exposure times for an existing photon file so I can print it with a different material to the one I intended when I created it. Also, I'd like to be able adjust (for example) base layer time, and number of layers,, simply to improve printing after first try. This would not involve re-orienting and perhaps re-adding supports.

Simon Jackson this all can be done in the printer settings when you load the file for printing.
Also in file validator (not official anycubic but photonsters did a fantastic job)

Ability to run the resin test on the Photon S would be massive

How about something even simpler and more fundamental first?

Include a better usb stick.

on validator, open the file there and hit save, it will show a popup settings window you can change the values permanentely on save

*knock on wood* I am still running the stock usb since october with no issues. Guess it is the exception that justifies the rule!

resin test wasn't developed by Anycubic official though. If they had a test enabled in the machine software: just press 'xp test' in settings and it would do an exposure test it would be a fantastic addition though

the most important thing for next generation proton first is the quality of the prints 4k screen 31 micro pixel , Para lead for uniformity of the prints , asntialising,. Second the quality of the printer aluminum case. Ethernet and wiff not very important

we are waiting on the ability to stop peel moves from Anycubic to be able to port the resin xp into photon S. Current firmware does not have any similar option nor any alternative we can exploit and with their closed source firmware we have our hands t ied here and are at the mercy of they lightning fast developing team
And as we come to observe from the team quick response to challenges i dont believe it will hapoen this year

Never used the anycubic slicer (chitubox from day 1), but downloaded it and was pleasantly surprised. A few options that would make an improvement in my opinion are:
1. island detection/validation
2. the ability to make a library with different resins and their settings for different layer heights.
3. ability to generate an exposure test

A plugin ability would allow to use the validator to detect islands and implement the resin exposure finder tool

Fadi Ashush i believe you can do that already. Save as STL after you have your supports, then import the STL with generated supports and size it as you want. Only careful if you shink the model the supports might be too weak and if you enlarge it they will be to stong and brake pieces of your model.

Being able to draw for supports to follow plot them along the line by how many distance apart distance from internal walls etc. Hope that makes sense.

It was at 0.05mm but it's more to do with the exposure time I think - I kinda pushed it at I think 11 or 12 secs and it needed more.
