Monocure Flex100. I would suggest mixing it in with regular resin but you can print it on it's own and it's fairly rubbery.

Within the US, I sell it at Maker Market. Though you may be able to find it cheaper closer to you.

Infill would be good as some large scale models lose there wall thickness when scaling down

How about - open source the slicer? As you can see there is a huge community that Is developing 3rd party tools that would contribute so much. MIT of GNU GPL license.

Do what Prusa and Ultimaker did with Slic3r and with Cura.

That would put you on the forefront of the community engagement and allowed for tons of new and experimental features.

You are not a software vendor, you are hardware vendor. This makes so much more sense for you guys to do.

Elvin Torok

Variable layer height and each different layer thickness with it's required curing time for precision(set by user).

Ed Gaulton

How about a dimension feature to check/set scaling?

Nicholas Hughes

an android application with wifi just as a monitor would be fantastic and quite easy to do.

Bob Deblier
2019-09-04 19:01:54

How about trying to cooperate on / contribute to Chitubox, so that you don't duplicate effort? Open sourcing that cooperative effort, and starting a real community would be a dream come true.

Having edited support parameters stick instead of having them reset every time you change from thin to middle, to heavy etc.

Ability to save resin / layer combination profiles more than one easily available in the software with one click.

A slider in the support window so you can scroll through the model to look for islands.

The ability to hollow and add holes. Rotation handles when rotating a model.

Better editing of supports to make it easier to support islands that would normally mean a support is touching the model elsewhere. ie, being able to select the cone of a support and move it elsewhere instead of the whole support.

Kristyan Polanco
2019-09-04 23:38:24

I would like to repair the STL, sometimes when you hollow the model it gets damaged.or some models are already damaged

Smarter auto supports

Billy Thiex

Bundle chitubox, and get them to implement undo, and also to allow you to mirror and rescale without losing supports

Why adding WiFi possibility to the slicer if the hardware cannot use WiFi?

This is really a scan from a real person?

Neil Ramsay
2019-10-03 18:34:53

From the look of it, the place that made the setup sells scans/texture packages: https://www.3dscanstore.com/3d-body-models So yes. Lots of male models. Not so many... um... anatomically correct....

3D Scanning Guy
2019-10-03 20:25:28

Yup - plenty of male versions on the site! I think they have a discount sale on at the moment? It's the Dynamic Poses that you probably want to look at: https://www.3dscanstore.com/dynamic-3d-models

3D Scanning Guy
2019-10-03 20:26:14

Yes

Dieter Bürgy
2019-10-04 01:44:58

how long take it to make the scan?

3D Scanning Guy
2019-10-04 07:28:26

What do you mean by "make a scan"? Capture time or how long it takes to edit/clean up? About 10,000th of a second to capture (Einstein flash time) and probably a couple of hours to clean up - I didn't do the edit though, just cleaned up the hair a bit.

3D Scanning Guy
2019-10-04 07:29:45

No idea how long it took the workstation to combine the 170 images in Reality Capture to create the finished poly mesh. RC is quick though, so probably not that long/

Dieter Bürgy
2019-10-04 17:31:43

Yes, i meant to to "take the picture" I didnt know how it works. So there are hundrets of cameras? I thought there is one camera moving around

George Bulte
2019-09-29 08:44:03

Huh? exposure test and scrape from the bottom? serious? The S version is so great you don't have this flakes on the bottom. Second, the exposure test is only a ring, so in the center nothing is cured.

Bradley VanScoyk
2019-09-29 14:03:07

George Bulte they are showcasing NEW features on the upgraded photon S. What are you confused about?

George Bulte
2019-09-29 18:23:40

Bradley VanScoyk Not new features, they are all in the current firmware of the S. But you are not confused that they advise to cure the resin and take it out? I use a funnel and filter for that.

Does anyone know how to change the layer height in the RERF? Or is it not possible?

Sen Kun
2019-10-01 06:49:06

Nothing new here that the original classic Photon has already been able to do for ages.

Exposure test? Check.

https://github.com/altLab/photon-resin-calibration

Anti-aliasing (AA)? Check.

https://github.com/....../master/firmware/4.2.18_Photon.zip
https://www.chitubox.com/download.html

Cleaning up floaters left in vat by curing and wasting resin? Check.

Wait. What? Why?

the same question here ,all numbers are in grey and cant be changed

Денис Сачков
2019-10-03 04:27:58

Pay attention to the development of the slicer. And then you have to do hollow in meshmixer, build support in chitubox. And anycubic slicer is good for clicking on the print button.

2019-09-30 23:01:17

This is good, but I mean, you could just take car of the cleaing water like you do with IPA, just cutting out the IPA. That was at least what I was going to do. ?

Grant Weaver
2019-09-30 23:06:00

Same. But you know a lot of people that don’t care will just go rinse it in the sink and wash it down the drain.

Pascal Pacman Blomquist
2019-09-30 23:13:36

Yeah, I do believe that people do the same with their IPA and resin ...

Andrew Wang
2019-09-30 23:19:15

So I have a 1 L bottle of used IPA (washed prints with them), what is the best way to dispose of it?

Also, should I do anything with the paper towels that are soaked in resin? Just trash it or should they be recycled or something?

Siraya Tech
2019-10-01 01:10:49

let it evaporate by sunlight which also cures the resin in it. then recycled the left over solid

Andrew Wang
2019-10-01 01:14:58

Thanks!

Shivanand Chanderbally
2019-10-01 02:47:33

Education is the solution. I don’t believe Anycubic should be making a decision on their customers’ intelligence.

It’s like saying, YOU, the customer, should buy IPA because we don’t trust you will do the right thing if we give you a water washable solution.

How are you so sure there aren’t persons throwing IPA down the sink? You cannot control the customer, but you can educate them to do the right thing.

My 2c.

Kwan Sheung Fung
2019-10-01 13:47:04

It is not hard to understand they realize the western customers have great concern in this so they try to put this up to score some marks. Nothing to do about what they want to help about the environment. Probably also have read about the responses from the EPAX page eSun water-washable thread.
Is there any guarantee people are not flushing all harmful solvent and resin down the drain??

I hate hypocrisy.

thats all well and good but if you want people to switch there needs to be less of gap between the prices.

Jim Goulbourne
2019-08-26 22:14:46

currently you cannot even buy 500ml for the price it cost to buy 1ltr of normal. and anyonethat alrady has these printers are already set up for dealing with them

You completely read my mind, i was thinking the same

Handrez Pintubola
2019-08-26 22:54:17

I'll wait till better prices, most of costumers pay shipping fees for each bottle so is pretty expensive to switch right now.

Antonio Robbins

I'd like to know how flexible and impact resistant they are.

Nicolas Belin

But the prints don't look like the usual resin prints and more like those toy soldiers.
