How do you get the part that goes to the bed, to be the same size? My prints always get like squished if i print directly in the bed.

I have the luxury or not knowing if this is good or bad... I pack it full always. Sometimes missing supports n stuff running through neighborinf models

Will do mate - thanks for the amazing models! Just printing out a couple more for the green and purple ones. Printed one in transparent green that works okay, but tried mixing blue and red for a purple and it's not... great lol

I've never printed stuff that thick but you'd need to up the exposure times dramatically from stock. I think your problem is the layer isn't curing enough so therefore is still not that hard when the next layer comes in, hence why it squishes. Try doubling your exposure times for the base and normal and see if that cures (ha!) your issue? Then you can back them off gradually to see where the sweet spot is.

With it adhering to the build plate? what are your bottom exposures? Otherwise sounds like your plate isn't flat with the FEP maybe?

yes it does but 100% of the time the corners lift off.

What are your bottom layer exposure times?

its kind of flattening too, which would suggest you need to up the times. What layer thickness?

By working in 3D scanning for 20 years and cunning use of an Artec scanner and editing software ;)

Just to be clear:

1. the new firmware does NOT work with Chitubox, only the "new_photon_s_slicer".

2. You have not yet released a MAC version of the "new_photon_s_slicer".

Therefore, as a MAC user, you should NOT update to this firmware? Correct?

Where is the R.E.R.F. feature in your slicer? I upgraded my firmware specifically for that and cannot find any mention of it in the software.

Hi Amy Liao , happy to hear this ! but if anyone want to goes back to previous firmware, where can we find it ? In the Anycubic website I see only the new one .... and what about R.E.R.F. ? it is an external file or it is built inside the slicer ?

This goes for Linux too, though I did get the previous slicerbto work under Wine.

Alessandro Rsx nothing special, mate. 65 sec exposure time on the base 8 layers. That's all.

Alessandro Rsx p.s. I clean out my vat after every print, regardless of success or if I'm using the same resin again. Prints tend to leave a "shadow" on the FEP that (imho) needs to be wiped off between prints.

Let me interpret. He's giving anycubic a first warning regarding the complete and utter lack of updates for Photon S.

In a week, he'll issue the second warning. If there's no update following that he'll have no choice but to turn his photon S into a glorified UV wash machine.

The latest firmware for the Photon S is still 2.9.9? Mine came with this version, thanks

Sadly we cant select speed and Printsize at the same time.

Nor can we select precision and size or speed. Anyway, don't understand the point of this, they can't be mutually exclusive, precision should be a priority and a given.

Anycubic should just refer to the specifications for the Photon CE special edition back in April. That's what everyone wanted.
