Who can spot what is wrong but also very right with this picture?

Update: For all those wondering, the answer is that it is not running the Anycubic firmware. This is my Frankenton S printer. It is running a CBD board instead of the nerfed Anycubic board. I'm in the process of writing a guide on how to do it (which is actually really simple).

After some testing with the R_E_R_F.pws and R_E_R_F.stl files provided by Amy Liao I was able to figure out that the filename "R_E_R_F.pws" switches the PhotonS into a special mode where it divides the screen into 8 sections and does different exposures in each. The actual file contents does not matter. As such I am working on a much smaller resin test file for the PhotonS that does not use nearly as much resin and can print much faster.

WARNING!! Anycubic just released a new firmware for the Photon S. It adds a bunch of features including Anti-Aliasing and a Resin Exposure Range Finder plus fixes a bunch of bugs which is awesome. It also changes the file format used to print from .photons to .pws. As a result ChituBox does not currently work with it. You currently need to use Photon_Workshop_V2.0.23. I am assuming ChituBox will add support for this new format soon.

Hooked an oscilloscope up to the serial port on the Photon S. With the FTDI adapter and 12V on there is a ton of electrical noise. Without the FTDI adapter there is no noise on serial port. It is not debug info. Most likely the Photon S and my computer's power supplies do not like each other. My guess is the firmware has setup the port at 500,000 baud and to just echo everything. Nothing is writing to it and nothing is reading to it.

UPDATE!!! I was using the wrong header. IT WORKS!!! SWD enabled on the 5 pin header.

Sadly the JTAG on the Photon S seems to be disable in the firmware. Tomorrow I am going to try hooking an oscilloscope to the serial TX pin to try to see what is happening when I apply 12V.

For those interested here are some more detailed images of the Photon S's mainboard.

I also attached an FTDI serial adapter to Com1 and Com2. Com2 didn't do anything. Com1 would echo what I typed at 500000 baud but would not respond to gcode. When I would plug in the 12v adapter garbage would dump to my terminal faster that the FTDI could handle. I suspect electrical noise.
