I’ve been using my Anycubic Photon for about six weeks, and frankly: I love it!!! I purchased the printer to make small parts for my HO model train layout, with plans to make operational parts for rolling stock, and scenic components. The detail is fantastic, and I’ve been able to print extremely small parts that meet requirements. Here is a representative set of parts already in use:

The first time I printed I followed tje user manual’s instructions including emptying, filtering and pouring leftover resin into the bottle. The amount of effort it takes to remove, clean and cure the parts each time takes some getting used to, but is not all that hard or time consuming. But I find the amount of work it takes to return the unused resin back into the bottle to be another matter. After the first use I decided to leave the resin in the vat against everything I can see on the website and on the Photon Facebook user group.
Here’s how. I purchased a metal box with lid and built foam inserts so the vat could be safely placed inside. This box is not light-tight so I keep it in a drawer that is not exposed to sunlight.

I’ve had no resin clouding… none. Using this method setting up for a new print is also a breeze. If I were to build another box, I would seal the corners and put a gasket round the top to seal it a bit more so that were there to be a spill inside, no resin would end up outside the box.
