Poked a hole in my FEP after a failed print with a lot of cured resin stuck to the FEP. I have heard mention of the poor quality of the screws holding the FEP. Does anyone know the size and length of these.

Getting ready to try my first Resin change from Anycubic Green to Anycubic Gray. I have looked at the suggested settings in the big spreadsheet. I just want to confirm that all I need to do is create a new profile in Chitubox and then Slice the file. I plan to use one of my previous prints and just Re Slice it with the new profile. Is that correct?

I need to print some HO scale equipment boxes to cover my train detection module. The boxes are hollow with an open window near the top for the sensors. My first print failed miserably, I think because I positioned them upright and since there is no way for resin to drain out, I had a mess. Would you recommend printing upside down and slightly tilted?

I just ran into a strange problem on my Photon. My print (700 layers) started out fine with the base and supports and started the little cabinets but then at layer 263 it started exposing the entire frame. This continued until layer 389 and then was back to normal at 390. I tried looking at the problem layers on Chitubox but everything looked normal. I am using a new flash drive. After the fail, I cleaned everything and then ran through another exposure with the vat removed to see if it would repeat and it did. Please take a look at the pictures to see if you can give me any guidance. first pic is layer 263 then 270. Bad print then 389 and 390 plus the Chitubox pic.

Has anyone used that foam packing that was slipped over the Photonics when it arrived as an additional up filter. It doesn’t cover the fan but does cover all windows. Thinking of spraying it black.

Do you use separate profiles in Chitubox for different resins or do you enter your numbers when you start a project with a new resin? I just realized I am switching from AC green to AC gray and did not do anything with the exposures times or layers.

OK, I messed up somehow with Chitubox. I am on a Mac and was frustrated that I couldn't zoom in like I saw on the youtube demos. Started checking settings and realized the scroll roller on my mouse was turned off in settings. Turned it on and went back to Chitubox. Rolled the ball and my image went completely off screen and I can't get back. I tried loading a new file but it doesn't appear. I uninstalled Chitubox and reloaded it but still nothing when I open a file. Any thoughts???

I could use some tips on brushes for painting all these new fine details that I am printing. I am typically using Vallejo paints in both my airbrush and hand painting but when I see the detailed painting many of you are doing I could use some tips.

Finished my first two prints. The second one had about a dozen small, HO scale items. I had two of them that failed and wound up with their remainder stuck to the FEP. Decided to filter and clean. The Whole FEP had a green cast and did not clean off with just alcohol and paper towels. I wound up carefully using the plastic scraper after soakin in alcohol and then lifting the thin green resin film from the FEP. Is this normal? How often do you. Drain and clean your FEP?

Just made the Test cubic. Came out great. Went to do a new file and the Photon Is telling me unknown file format. I built the file with downloads and combined them with ChiTubox and then ran them through File Validator that fixed some islands. The file is called BarrelsnTanks4.Photon. Any suggestions?? I'm anxious to print something useful.
