I have a resin opacity question:

It seems to me that with opaque resins, the light should scatter more off of the dye particles, resulting in some surface roughness or fuzziness at the edges of the UV image (as seen through the resin). Does this result in a degradation of the prints' resolution? Do finer details appear on translucent resin prints more so than opaque ones? Does anyone have a link to an article that does a side-by-side?

So I found an easier way to do something and I’m sure 99% of you already do this but just in case I’m not the only slow one I’m sharing.

When you get resin stuck on your FEP sheet from a failed print, instead of chiseling it off from the top and risking damage to your sheet try applying a small amount of pressure on the bottom of the sheet and it pops right off with zero damage.

More Cr3a ?

Smaller rings this time, cast in sterling silver. Going to try to set 2mm stones, so I'll cut the seats for the stones next.

The maple leaves are a result of a test to use Dental Model Gray with a vulcanized mold. It works beautifully, but needs a release spray (which I forgot ? ) Yeee for senior moments and brain farts. These are going to be enameled, which I'm looking forward to (love enameling).

Have to focus on coming events, so I wont be pestering you with Cr3a for a few days. Happy printing!
