Hey guys I have my printer outside on a small room, what is the lowest temperature that the printer can work correctly? ?

A new failure!

This base came out with a line through it. I did pause the print over night, so I assumed that was the large line. BUT there are also some smaller lines underneath that big obvious one. Any idea why?

This Photon hasn't been as plug and play as advertised.

So far it's been...
Fail 1: warped interior to the test print.
Fail 2: test print did one layer then reset to home screen and stopped, that layer on the FEP.
Fail 3: test print did one layer then reset to home screen and stopped, on build plate this time (new USB).
Print 1: An orc that came out flawless! This made me suspect test file corrupted. (Picture below, no issues)
Fail 4: A mind flayer prints layer one and resets to home screen, same as #3 (same USB as the Orc)
Fail 5: The orc's base comes out near perfect except for those lines running through the middle (yet another USB).
Does that trail of clues lead anywhere? Bad motherboard? Bad power supply? Faulty USB cable?
I unplugged the machine to flush its memory, and I'm going to simplify file names and reduce the number of files on each USB. If that doesn't work I give up and will ask Anycubic to replace it.
Settings seem well within normal range. USB cable inside seemed to be attached fine. Still need to try plugging in directly to the motherboard. .18 firmware. Leveling seems good, but I'll try that again too. 翻譯年糕

Today I have noticed a very curious thing, I have a system of improvised curing of uv led strips, in it there are two types of figures that are inside the painted circle have a very bright fluorescence while the others have nothing. I have used the same white eleggo resin the only difference is that the most fluorescent ones have 8 seconds of normal exposure and the other 14.

Does anyone know what it's all about?

Hello dear photonsters. I recently got my photon s and after a lot of iterations and learning process finally I can try to sell some printed models, but I have no idea how much would they cost, what will be a good stimation of price. With FDM is a lot easier, because you don't have to account so many consumables, so I am a little lost with this. Anyone that can share their experiences would be much appreciated.

I know it's really really really hard to tell from photos, but I'm guessing I'm not supposed to be seeing the UV backlight at all though the masked off parts? I know light bleed is common in TVs and these phone screens they use aren't designed to be blasted with 25w UV lamps. Is this normal on the photon? I keep getting a bunch of resin stuck to FEP. Not in places where anything is supposed to print. It isn't a giant sheet across the whole FEP, it's pieces here and there. And it's after every print. Sometimes the print itself is fine, many times there are extra pieces hanging off the print, sometimes it fails in weird places. I'm charging up my other phone so I can record the whole print and see if I have glitches in the middle of a print.

You can see in the pics with paper over the screen that there is a faint glow in the masked parts.

Can I solve this? Yes I have checked the cable is seated. The fans are all working. This has been happening on all different firmwares, official ones, Epax 4.2.18, even phontonsters GUI mod. My motherboard failed and was replaced as well, happened on the old Mobo and the new one.

For those curious this is Bluecast x10, sanded buildplate with bluecast primer cat adhesive, all settings they suggest. (0.05 layer, 9 seconds, 60s bottom layer, 40mm/hr lift speed). Room is at 21°c-25°c. Resin is warmed initially to around 30°c. I get the same kinds of results on all resins.

Ok so I changed from Anycubic eco blue to elegoo gray. No failed prints with blue but with Elegoo nothing only the right side is sticking.

I have tightened the FEP some, cleaned the vat and plate and still only the one side sticks.

I am going to try and level again and see.

The temp has dropped outside by 20 degrees but stays consistent in the house. So I may need to bring a heater in, just strange the print on the right side of the plate prints perfect with no issues in grey

So I updated to v4.2.18 and my display screen is now black and orange? Was that supposed to happen?
