Hi, i bought a new proper Sandisk usb-drive for my photon-s but as soon as i plug it into the machine, the machines display becomes totally unresponsive. Its formatted to fat32. Just wanted to see if anyone has experience with this and know of a solution

Guys need some help. Was calibrating my photon and print was satysfying. So i clone my model to print more at once and next day i saw some of the resin leftovers on the FEP. I have cleaned everything, mixed and poured new resin to the vat, but the result after printing was the same. The funny part is that the prints are fairly ok, maybe some surfaces are not the best, but they are fully printed.

I use Harz Model Black with settings:

Bottom Layer Count: 7

Exposure Time: 13

Bottom Exposure Time: 120

Light-off Delay: 1

Bottom Light-off Delay: 1

Can this be due to underexposure? Shall i try another resin, like anycubic's that i have parameters already check?

Any help would be nice, thanks :)

Once again begging for help with this issue. I can't believe I'm the only one that's had this happen. It's like my whole screen is exposing every so often. I've been trying not to update because I've been told I shouldn't here, but this seems like a software problem and I'm out of ideas on how to fix it. I have noticed on short z prints it doesn't happen. Not sure if the intervals of when this happens is tied to z hight or if the LCD is just glitching when it feels like it. I've played with settings and nothing has changed so that's not it.

Curious noob question alert!

Has anyone tried making a much taller replacement rail system, for Photons or other printers, to see if they could get much taller prints, or is that something limited by the firmware and software as well? I know, theoretically it could be done, but I was wondering if anyone has even attempted it yet.

Is there actually a big difference between the Photon S and Photon Upgraded ? With the new Firmware and the benefits of the S, I dont see any reason why someone would chose the Upgraded over the S.

Just trying to use the new Anycubic slicer on my Photon (not S, old type). I generate a good .photon file but the wierd fact is that it stops at 99% print and doesn't finish the print at 100% returning platform up.

Has someone the same issue?

I had some good results with anycubic grey, compared to monoprices stuff... Waiting for my refills from amazon. Can you guys tell me if it is okay to mix 10% of monocure flex with anycubic resins, to make the prints tougher?
