Need some help from the hive! Last couple of prints my build plate stop moving on the Z axis but was still going through the print but as I couldn’t find any resin hardened in the vat I think the lcd also stopped but on the front panel screen it was still going through the print. Any ideas?

Hi group. After not using my photon for about 2 weeks, after it working well the first few prints it's not turning on. The cord is in and the converter light (blue) comes on, but the machine doesn't at all. Anyone have this problem?

Figure on the left (covered in white fog) is washed with Ethanol. 3 other nice and green figures are washed under hot water stream (I see no any leftovers) Do I really need to wash in alcohol if this produces such artifacts?

Has anyone found a good additive for white to make lithophanes more opaque? Added grey but it just makes it light grey and did nothing for opacity.

Also tried ifun resin but no improvement.

I made an experiment by mixing milled carbon fibre into Anycubic green in the hopes of making it stronger - as it's what it does with normal resins.
Well, it doesn't. I had to up the exposure time from 8s to 35s to even be able to print it, and it still fell off the plate most of the time mid way. The contact area is too rough, doesn't stick to it because of that.
I eventually managed to print two hooks that I could strength test against the clean resin printed ones.

They were not stronger at all, they could support the same weight before breaking.

Then I tried simply bending the leftover pieces and the carbon filled snapped much easier.

I have been having issues with cured resin in my vat for a while. I tried everything I could hoping that I would not have to replace the LCD screen but thats what I had to do. I was pretty stressed out about it and picked up a $20 Elegoo screen off of Amazon which some people reported having problems installing. I just put it in and I am happy to report that it wasn't that hard and worked right away. Test print will be starting in a few minutes.
