Hello all, I've been running into this problem with the first few layers of my model ending up kinda gooey but still cured, I printed using regular generated medium cone tipped supports and I thought it was more of a support issue or possibly the orientation but I'm not sure anymore. Towards the end of the print the detail is exactly how I'd like it to be but not so much at the beginning... (Printed out two of the same at opposite orientations which didn't seem to help).

Hello again ! Second print made in my career :D i'm happy with the result but not so much, i hoped for crispier details as i see in a lot of project in this group . Any advice ? I used transparent green resin ( the one given with the photon ) . The model here has been primed and wahsed with a brown .

I used.these settings

Normale exposure 12
Off time 3
Bottom 80
Bottom.layer 5

How has the price of resin evolved the last few months/years? The current best price I see is about 40 euros per liter. Was it this way a year ago?

Thank you for the add. I have a problem with my first attempt at resin printing .

the print seems to have started to for on the bottom of the vat rather than the build plate . I'm sure it is a newbie mistake ?

I received this request for a print job, but I can't make heads or tails of it. Standee?
I take it they are for a game, but I've asked the enquirer to send me the models they're referring to.

Since getting my Photon, I've only used white resin.

What resins do you use, and what do you like best about them?

I've been thinking of trying the organic resin, the green transparent, or the grey next. Any opinions?

I was starting to clean out my vat from a failed print when I found that my desk lamp had partially cured the resin in the vat. This is also probably happening to a lesser degree with my ceiling lights. I have seen suggestions for 60w bug lights to prevent accidental curing. Are there any other options that people have found worked or are bug lights the best option?
