I have another little problem that I'd like help on and it is very much aprreciated. Just printed this Apollo CM interior and I got these diagonal lines throughout the print. I oriented it pretty much the way you see here. The floor is where it attached to the build plate so it's upside down from its orientation on the plate. I followed the spreadsheet for Anycubic clear resin. The gray is a primer coat that I sprayed to make the lines more visible. The granularity is also from the primer. Any ideas as to what’s causing these lines?

My photon is grumbling whenever I raise or lower the build plate the full length of the gear. I know it's been asked before but what's the best lubricant to use in this situation?

Has anyone fried their motherboard? How hard is it to replace the tiny ribbon cable in the center of the board?

Hi everyone! Just joined this group because I am getting some issues with print quality and was hoping someone could shed some light. I am printing a model I made using NOVA 3d clear resin. I continuously get these holes or small gaps in the first layer that lead to small holes in the model. This happens consistently. I have tried printing in different directions. I've printed vertically, horizontally, 20 degrees from vertical and 20 degrees from horizontal all centered on the build plate. I am currently printing the 20 degrees from horizontal model on the right side of the build plate to see if I have any success.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks for the add! Just ordered my Photon after a less than stellar experience with the Longer Orange10 (junk).

Does anyone have some good reading and tips to share for when it arrives in the meantime?

I notice from the document included with the firmware update for the Photon S that you can go back to the previous firmware, has anyone done this or found out how to do it ?

Latest print: N-scale (1:160) rifles

Printed on AnyCubic Photon
Hero Resin - custom color mix
Settings: layer 0.05mm, bottom layers 8, bottom exposure 70s, normal exposure 15s

For comparison, that is a 0.5mm lead mechanical pencil.

Love the Photon, LOVE the resin!

I previously had an issue similar to what is pictured and someone here suggested using the EPAX firmware. I upgraded to Epax 4.2.18 as suggested and that seemed to solve the problem when I re-printed the model. However, the next print after that printed as a pictured. The difference was that these had supports built in Prusasplicer, sliced in Chitubox and printed at .02 (exposure 4s) instead of all supports having been done in Chitubox at .05. I also had AA (x4) enabled.

Any thoughts on solving this continuing problem would be appreciated.

Also just to verify, is there an obvious way to tell if Epax FW was successfully installed. I installed an earlier AC firmware so I could see the firmware # change because of there was no apparent difference otherwise (or I am just blind) so I wasn't sure it successfully installed the first time.
