hi guys, recently got a photon and tried to print this straight to the bed. No luck all that happened was it stuck to the fep. So i turned to the trusty cube and ran that which worked well. Is my original print possible to do straight to the bed or will i have to run them with supports. They are very small, approx 4mm long and 2.5mm wide in a set of four.

Hello, I designed a Die on blender (D6) but I’m struggling to get it printed correctly.
- flat on plateforme : I get brick instead of a cube. (Longer on Z axe)
- one corner up / opposite corner down : I get a trapezoid.

Do you have any advice?

I was feeling pretty cocky with all the fantastic prints i was getting out of my photon so i decided to reward her with another new FEP.
since wiping out the inside of the machine and changing FEP, my photon (non S) failed within first 3min of 7-8 prints.
I did some googling and upgraded to EPAX firmware from Vini's post that helped several people solve this. but was still happening.
I found that the AC connector to my AC brick felt a little loose so i replaced it and now it won't [beep beep, power cycle, leave plate at bottom] but instead it memory errors M_11820 at 70% into my 6h print.

thoughts ? before my 8A power supply arrives on sunday to replace my 6A ?

So far the Photon has been great, I've printed several minis over the past 3 weeks that I have owned it, and every one of them is awesome. However I seem to run in to a problem with some of the larger things I try and print, nothing under 2" tall has done it so far. It doesn't always happen though, trying to figure out if this is a Chitubox problem, or a photon problem. Basically, it just stops printing. Does not raise the plate up like it finished, just whatever layer it is currently on it decides that it is done.

Attached 2 pics for examples, but it has happened more than these. One is a Bored Turtle about 80% and the other is a cat's jaw bone, like 98% done. If I just try again, it fails in the exact same spot. If I load up the STL file and make brand new supports for it, then re-slice it that appears to fix the problem. At least for this model supports are kind of easy to make. I've never seen this happen with my PLA printer, but I use Cura for that.

I'm guessing it is a problem with the file since making a brand new version takes care of the issue. My question is does anyone know what causes it so, if possible, I can try and avoid 10 hour prints that just stop printing at 9 hours and 45 mins. No messages on the display either, it is just on the main display again.

So my first question out of many I will have because I love this printer and I want to do so much more is about isopropyl alcohol. Because temps where I’m from will be dropping in the next few weeks we plan on moving our printer to a new area and luckily the only smell I’ve had issue with is the isopropyl. But is there a way to strain the resin from the ipa or do I just have to let it evaporate and then cure the leftover residue to dispose of it safely?
