I almost want to buy another Photon just so I can print even more. This hobby is so addicting!

Love how this print turned out. Still working on the best way to clean up support bumps, but it could just be settings I need to tweak in Chitubox.

I need to buy a new FEP sheet since I SOMEHOW managed to lose my spare FEP sheet and I just realised there is a dent/scratch in the FEP that came with the machine.

Planning on buying from amazon germany. any recommendation since anycubic's FEP sheets are stupid expensive. and a good old question. since I will be shopping anyway I am planning to print a D&D figurine for a friend. what is the most used resin for those purposes? All I got that isnt from the original box is monoprice green which I never got printing properly

Hey everyone,

Finally getting some pretty nice detail out of my prints with the Photon. But I get weird smooth spots or lumps and some obscured details that have otherwised printed fine elsewhere, anyone know what might be happening?

In this print in particular the front printed perfectly, but the back of the cape has fused to the base and is missing detail, the back of the collar are uneven or missing and the base seems to be really lumpy/wobbly.

I'm using Monocure rapid clear and chitubox to slice. I've tried re-leveling my bed but it doesn't seem to help.

Plate leveled, fep tuned to 301hz and we'll shaken resin
Nothing on the build plate or the fep ? I didn't think to run it empty and check the uv lights until after a full power cycle and after this they worked fine so now Rerunning. Could it have been a bad file or the machine just having a tantrum or have other people had similar symptoms?

Hello, can anyone explain to me how the "volumic" resin exposure tests work please? Like the one in the picture.
It seems that you can print several of them at the same time, but they end up having different exposure settings each.
I did not manage to catch/see/understand what makes it possible (spent quite some time watching videos, searching for conversarions here...) and I would greatly appreciate some explanation please.

so I have blown thru my first to films for my photon in less than 60 prints. Anyone have any recommendations for either a better film or am I just too rough? Oh and the spatula that came with it is trashed misprints that leave a layer attached to the film usually leave them HEAVILY attached and it take some work to get them off. Any recommendations?
