Hey Photon friends, do you find that when you scale a multi-part print that the connecting pegs no longer fit the holes? Trying to sort out why some of my multi-parts not assembling without a lot of sanding work and I'm thinking that is the culprit.

I ran into an odd printing issue yesterday. The short of it is that somewhere in the middle of a print there is, I guess a layer, where on one side of my vat the print seemed to fail. The failure only occurred on a few spots on 3 different models. I don’t believe it was necessarily a support issue as there was 4th model in the back of this picture that printed out just fine. What’s even stranger was that I had a 2nd printer running next to this one and had something very similar happen. Different models but I had the same problem going across one of the layers of the print. And for those who will ask, I was using Anycubic Grey, 100s base layer exposure for 10 layers, 17 second exposure per layer.

Thoughts?

Anybody got definitive Photon settings for ELEGOO Grey ABS-Like Rapid 3D Resin on a 0.02 layer height? I've tried the google document and it just gave me an overexposed mutant.

Has anyone printed the John Wick model? I've printed it at 50% the size as it's a huge model. I'm having trouble with the arms, and has several failures no matter how I support and angle I print at. Everything else has printed fine over several prints. This last print I secured the arm pit part of the model with lots of large supports, placed between 30° and 45° (tried printing lots of different ones over the whole plate) with other large supports automatically placed. I've then run it through photonsters file validator.

Resin stuck flat on the bottom this morning. A few other things on the plate printed fine (both hands and shoes).

Any ideas for best placement/angle?

Red yet Blu ?

Mixed 100ml of Blu clear with red pebeo gede ruby.

Every time I browse this group we have miniatures, its as though resin printers are only good for small items, now I know that the build volume is limited, so here is my 420mm x 400mm x 310mm diorama . .as long as you sculpt and design around the build volume larger models can be made . .so lets see some BIG prints . .
