I’m 3D printing a watch case, first print went okay but the flat sides were warped and details weren’t very nice. Will giving my object a 25 degree tilt and turning my exposer time down help at all? Thank you.

Well cr@p....started my first print of the test cube (after spending 20min finding it online since it wasn't on the stick). Checked out multiple leveling vids (three of them IIRC), plus a couple of print versions on websites. Was hearing the little pop or click early on in the print. Red circle looks like the base printed OK but then separated. Yellow circle was the resin hardening *as I watched* using a flashlight to show the base. Used the default settings for the resin that came in the box according to the spreadsheet. Thoughts? I *did not* clean the build platform with IPA first....Maybe that's it?

I just got my printer and in an effort to reduce the smell and toxic material I decided to get some esun bioresin grey. I then ran the exposure text with the results below. It looks like a fail at the 2-20sec test. The 6-60 sec test doesn't look much better. The best results look to be between 5-6 (30-36sec) even then the results do not seem as good as what other people have gotten. Could this be a bad batch of resin?
Note: the 2-20sec sheet has little holes in it as right after the print finished I ran the build plate assembly under hot water to clean off the uncured resin.

Photon File Validator: Who here uses it? Is your goal to remove every 'unsupported pixel' or only certain severity? I've noticed its very conservative and flags a ton of issues even for prints that appear to print just fine.

Total noob here, asking a total noob question...

I unboxed my shiny new Photon today and decided to remove the fume extractor fan right off the bat, which I did. I fire up the machine to level the bed and I notice that the cooling fan on the bottom of the unit is not running.

My question is, is the cooling fan supposed to run all the time, or does it just kick in when the unit starts to get warm?
