Well, had another failed print and at the suggestions of everyone to bought Sprayway 's "World's Best Glass Cleaner". Got a big can for $2.50 at Lowe's, and just got done touching up everything with that and some lens wipes (really wasn't having good luck with them) but wow... I'm impressed.

So I tried printing my first miniature last night and it indeed did print. The problem is that it printed at about 1/4 of the size it should have been. Is there a way to tell actual size in the slice softwares?

Anyone know of a resin that will work fine with silicone. Can't get silicone to cure with anycubic green.

Any ideas what causes this ‘time-shifting’ on a few layers halfway through I print? I am assuming it is ‘software’ as opposed to hardware - not using original USB, use photon slider though, but all prints before have been ok.....

Speak to me of post-processing, specifically, how to get a glossy finish on printed resin surfaces. I'm using Anycubic grey, and have wet sanded with very fine sandpaper, buffed with micro-abrasive, and used a rotary tool buffer and I can get a slight sort of sheen but not glossy. The surfaces are perfectly flat (faceted sides of various geometric shapes) so it's not like there's lots of little crevices.

I need a smooth, high-gloss-as-possible finish for molding and casting, and am not averse to a coating as long as it won't destroy any detail in the few areas that need it, or react with silicone for molding.

What do you do if you have to leave the printer idle for a week or more? I drained the vat, of course, and cleaned it and the build plate, but I'm still concerned that there may be some residue of resin that will harden over a long time.
