I had this issue with a print. The model came out perfectly but I dont know what caused it. I checked the .photon with the validator and that flap does not exist.

Resin: anycubic traslucent green

Just received my printer today...
So a total noob..
How long can you leave resin in the vat if doing a print at night..

Also.. dont have a uv light setup yet.. so if i put it out in the sun... but only like the next day.. is that ok..?

Bit of beginners question, I've had my machine about 2 weeks and after some problems I'm loving it. Question I have is about the resin, I'm using anycubics own brand for now but I've noticed some quality difference between colours and wondered if that's normal ? The clear green and red have alot better definition than the white which seemed to smooth out alot of the sharp edges ?

Good video that explains emulsion separation with salting. Mixing water and IPA. Wonder if adding salt to your leftover IPA will separate the resin out of it? Geek thing to try on the weekend. Vinicius Silva

I’m I’m confused. Granted I’m new to SLA printers but is there really that much variance between printers on exposure time? The file attached to this page lists something like 18 seconds exposure time for anycubic grey resin at .05 layers. A quick search of the page shows people with successful prints anywhere from 12 to 18 seconds.

Printing a calibration object I seem to get best results at 6 to 8 seconds which seems low for this resin.

Any thoughts??
