Just got my printer, so newbie here. Is there a way to print directly off the buildplate in the stock slicing software, meaning the print is sitting flush on the platform without any supports?

Well here goes nothing ? ? . Gonna follow all the setup instructions I have seen on here and the settings for printing the green anycubic. However, I did order grey elegoo. Should I go ahead and just start with elegoo and be done with it or go ahead and run the green first?

My printer is printing everything specular, left and right are messed up. I've checked the files, they are all ok, only the final print is inverted, anybody else with the same issue? let me guess, they installed the LCD the other way around!!!!

Im new to printing with the Photon, i have been using Chitubox with support settings taken from vfxforges video on youtube All About Supports. Ive been using default setting for exposure and layer height at 0.5mm. I want to print at higher resolutions on the photon like 0.4-0.1mm layer heights but i don’t know what other settings i need to change like exposure time in Chitubox. Can i use the settings i use for 0.5mm for say 0.1mm?

Has anyone seen any reports on exposure time, versus UV intensity, versus final product strength?
One of the things that was "turning me on" towards the Epax X1, was the more intense backlighting, and therefore shorter exposure times, and shorter print times.
But one of the things I wonder about, with the Photon being a lower intensity backlight, with longer exposure times, will the part be stronger?

Wine-makers!

I've backed a few terrain KS lately (looking at you City of Tarok and also Clorehaven) so I have more City/house terrain than I can ever print or paint. And I have so many patreons making awesome figures for monsters, player characters and the occasional town occupant. But now I saw a KS for more townspeople with some really cool "scenes" and many different looks to populate my towns and cities with!

I liked it so much I asked the artist if I could test print some of the scenes that I thought were really cool, this ballplucking, errr... wine making scene, I love!

I'm away for a few days but when I get back I will post another really cool scene from this KS!

I’ve noticed a reduction in detail since I’ve switched to AC gray resin from the AC green that came with it. A softening of edges and loss of detail on flat surfaces. Is this fixable with settings or is this just a side effect of more opaque resin? (I’m using the suggested setting for chitubox from the spreadsheet, 0.025, 11s exposure, 1s delay)
Edit: both underwent thorough cleaning in IPA and ultrasonic IPA bath.
