I have gotten small shift lines or none in other prints that are smaller but this Helmet always has major lines, there is plenty of vent holes and sliced with the default settings does this look like a z wobble issue to any of you? And how do I fix z wobble

So I'm using Elegoo Gray, 13 second exposure time for 0.05 layer height. What settings are you guys using with Elegoo for a more detailed print (0.04 or better even?). I'm printing some minis now that have really detailed faces and I don't think 0.05 is quite getting down to it. Thanks! -- Update: Going with 0.02mm layers / 9 second exposure

So, spent today designing a fan adapter similar to the vent hose adapter, but for a self contained fan/filter combo. This would replace the back panel on the Photon.
This one is designed for a 92mm fan, as I thought it would be a good balance between fan size/flow and fit. Could easily modify for an 80mm or 120mm fan. Also, I had a couple extra 92mm fans I wasn't using.
For filters, I plan to cut to size the activated carbon sheets that are used as prefilters on honeywell air purifiers. From a 11"x8" filter, I should be able to get 6 filters. The housing is made to double filter thickness, resulting in roughly 1/2" of filter.
Curious to get everyone's thoughts/Feedback. The model includes allowances for a switch to turn the fan on/off as well as a spot for an Ethernet extension cable ( http://amzn.com/B01J7KVPCK ). These could also be removed.
I'm currently printing the filter housing and cover on my FDM to make sure the snap works correctly, but curious to feedback. After that it will be the adapter itself. I already printed on but the Ethernet port was a bit off.

Any interest from anyone else in similar? I may post it on thingi or something, after I validate all the pieces.

Hey guys, I've recently got a Photon and am trying to print some minis, but I don't seem to be able to achieve the same amount of detail I see a lot of people getting - the faces seem kind of melted lol. I angle them back about 30 degrees. I'm using Monocure Rapid Grey, with a bit of Monocure Flex in as well, with settings of Layer: 0.05 and Exposure: 20 secs - do I need to increase these settings more?

Any reason I should be concerned about the potential for left over exposed material on the FEP after a print that finishes like this? Not sure what causes this sort of flash. The models came out fine once I trimmed it away. I haven’t checked the vat yet so I wasn’t sure if there would be left over semi cured resin.

hey everyone. Ive been lurking for a bit reading all i can before i pull the trigger on buying my 1st printer, the anycubic photon. I'm a little worried about some of the issues ive seen like loose cables and bad screens on delivery. ive figured most issues are user based. leveling and settings. any ways my question is:

can i use any printer files from thiniverse considering i run them through a slicer like Chitubox to convert to a "photon" file? i see the slicer program that comes with the cube sucks. I'm just looking at the possibilities of what I can make before I buy.

So Im trying (for the second time) Siraya Blu. Mostly only used Anycubic Green prior. Removing things from the build plate....Anycubic Green slides right off. The Siraya Blu sticks horribly! I've got that blue and orange plastic razor that gets linked here all the time, and on average, I am snapping two of it's razorblades per piece removed from the build plate, after never snapping one before with the Anycubic Green!

Is this just a known side effect of Siraya Blu, or should I be reducing the bottom exposure and/or layer count?

Current settings for the bottom layers are 50s exposure, seven layers.
