If your photon happens to freeze after selecting sliced files - check if you have no special alphabet marks in files name ;)

Continued printing problems...

I have two Photons that both have the same problem. I've used Photon File Validator and the free viewer from Thingiverse that both display my prints perfectly, when I try to print I get between a quarter and a half of the print and then it stops.

If I open the print file in ChiTuBox it seems to show the print cutoff at the same point as my prints, the strange thing is if I print without supports it seems to preview fine.

Smaller print files with supports that are below 40Mb print fine, it's just larger file sizes, can anyone help?

Silly question of the day... I've got a bunch of STL files (parts of a larger model) and I'm arranging them, adding supports etc in Chitubox. I've got all the remaining parts off the grid to the side of the printable region so I know which bits I've done, which I still need to organise.

I can fit all the parts onto 3 print runs, but will it cause printing issues if I leave the unused parts off to the side of the project in red? I'm assuming that because the LCD only covers the printable region, then when I generate the sliced file it will only generate the bit that needs printing, right? Or is it going to cause my printer to go into spasms? TIA!

Does anyone know why the Photon Slicer is making up extra supports? The first picture shows layer 65 (just supports) in Chitubox. The second picture shows layer 65 in the Photon slicer. There is a whole bunch of extra stuff there that shouldn't be there. Can't use Chitubox at the moment since they don't support .pws.

I not been looking into Resin for long (Have 4 Ender5's for just over 2 weeks and producing great terrain pieces) but want to do miniatures and resin seems to be the only way forward :) I have seen people rave about 3 and wanted to know pro's and cons of each at their price points ?
