Ok I'm going to try this in ChiTuBox...but this is what caused the problem to make me change out my LCD on the 1st Photon and that was not the problem...
So why does Photons slicer turn parts that the slicer tells me are 56 mm in diamitor into 48 mm I. Diamitor when there printing.....its a brand new printer out of the box less then 4 hours old.
Anyone know why? photon Slicer?

So I am a firm believer in learning all I can about a product before I buy it. Since I am brand new to resin printing, I decided to learn all I could about that as well. YouTube videos, thumbing through this group, checking the pros and cons, the works. So, I ordered my Photon last week and got it today. I had already printed the 4" vent hose adapter and vat cover on my FDM printer and had everything set up before my printer even got here. Built a window insert for the bedroom window. Put a small computer fan in it and it works perfect. Vents the fumes outside to the point I can not smell a thing.

I ran into a few questions and decided to use the search function before I asked in open forum (which is a normal practice for me, search first, ask questions later) and as usual, the answers presented themselves. Quickly finding out that this group is a wealth of knowledge, and a few smart asses :-D

So, I have my new Photon up and running and will be printing my first print over night. Fingers crossed but I am confident this little printer is worth the money. I have been printing with FDM printers for a few years and love it, this is just the logical next step. I want to thank everyone in this group for all your help, even if you don't know you helped!

Greetings group, hope you are doing well!

I would like to know if someone else can hear the fan going full power for a few seconds, then going back to normal everytime the printer starts a new layer. I updated to the newest firmware today (I was on the old stock version from a year ago) and this does not happen if I use the old Photon slicer. However, I noticed this when I use the Chitubox one.

Could it be the anti aliasing feature? I dediced to enable it due the firmware update, but not sure if that's the cause (currently printing so I have a few hours to kill before I try to disable it in another print).

hey everyone! im kinda stuck here with scales, the two on the right are scaled to 32mm, are the artisan guild sculpts scaled to 32mm as well? as in are the creatures supposed to be this big compared to human? or are these scaled bigger? thanks for any help

Hoping to get some help. Before a few days ago, this file printed perfect. Tried printing a different file and it failed. Now every time I print this one, the front left corner wont adhere. I have releveled probably 20 times and I have taken it apart and cleaned it. Have the same issue ever time. I even put I new fep sheet in. I'm honestly just lost at this point. Also it now making a popping noise on the first few layers.

So I just update the firmware today to 4.2.19 and I started a print and noticed that my fan is randomly increasing and decreasing in speed. Any body else experience that?
